Saint Meinrad Archabbey is a monastic community of Benedictine monks, located in southern Indiana in the town of St. Meinrad (pop. 850), near the towns of Jasper, Ferdinand, Santa Claus and Siberia.
The Roman Catholic community has 88 monks as of February, 2013, and runs a seminary with 150 students studying for the priesthood and 100 laypersons studying religion, philosophy and theology.
