The entire maniac medic bit, as well as how immediately frustrated Jerma got with himself for choosing the 2013 lets player meme zombie voice and how frequently he asked to change it, are two of the funniest things he’s ever done
once I met jerma irl, I asked if I could get a photo of him and he was super nice about it and agreed, and afterwards when I went to thank him and shake his hand he beat the shit outta me and punched me so hard it knocked me to the ground. Cool guy
funny you say that, I saw jerma at a grocery store in Los Angeles yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.
God Jerma is unironically a comedic genius. Choosing the zombie voice and just been ok with it, isn't funny at all but choosing it and immediatly wanting to turn it off honestly just makes it hilarious everytime the zombie says some dumb shit.
Male voice 3 in this game is voiced by Robin Atkin Downes, who is also the voice of the medic in TF2. Shame that nobody in chat let him know during the stream.
I played that freaking game so much that I bought two dvds for my Xbox 360, cause the first one scratched so bad and didn’t work anymore. It happened the same thing with the second dvd, but i think I’ve had enough of sr3 hahah. Now I want to play the new saints row.
jerma legitimately has ESP for hilarious car accidents, there's no other explanation. look at the sheer, consistent focus on the car at 28:52 onwards in utter defiance of the fact that someone is actively shooting him. a director couldn't have framed that shot better if they'd tried and jerma just does it on the fly, with no way of knowing how it will end.
@@jamesc2889 i dunno but I guess with that recent stuff about gambling on twitch and Mr greenz being a fat cat gambler, it would have been too much to risk it
11:50 I feel exactly the same way about tf2, I can't see how valve (or anyone for that matter) could make something even remotely good as tf2, that game was special, one of a kind. All those things, the lore behind the game (why things in the game are happening the way they are), characters, art style, gameplay, community, cosmetic items that you can collect and the whole system behind it, custom stuff like sprays, items that you can customize with your own images, all of that is perfect. Everything in tf2 is stylized, when you are loading the game says: your are on your way to: (map name), most of cosmetic items have little descriptions that are expanding story, stuff like names of various killstreak effects, names of colors, names of cosmetics, names of weapons etc. Another thing is source filmmaker, valve released easy to use program for animation. That alone added another layer of "depth". Imo the best that valve could do rn if they were planning on releasing another entry to team fortress, is to take tf2, port the whole thing to source 2, make all cosmetic items in backpacks compatible between tf2 and tf2 source 2, and maybe upscale textures and start building on top of that with new updates.
"If I see a situation that looks a little dire or it looks a little scary, I'm I'm not going to step on the pedal as hard as I can and drive as fast as I can into all the other cars, or directly into a wall so I fly out the windshield" And this man claims to be from Boston.
Who else was distracted with the weird ass gameplay, struggling to remember if you played it or not at 26:00, until you hear Jerma say something about wanting to being able to grab something and have mayo come out the sideS?
Modern gaming is constantly having a sit down with games you hated in the 2010s and saying. I'm sorry, you were not as bad as I perceived. Take Battlefield 2042 vs 5 for example
Idk what you mean, I thought the fanbase was pretty 50/50 on whether 2 or 3 was better... 4 is the one most "hardcore saints fans" are unified on being shit.
@@Alec_Reaper both 3 and 2 were pretty acclaimed by fans and critics alike at the time though... Did I like miss the memo where now everyone HATES SR3? Because I remember it and 2 being considered the peak with 1 and 4 being the blech ones, speaking as someone who played all of them. Also, both of those are trash. BF1 was the last good BF game.
I’m not a hardcore Saints fan but I’ve played through the entirety of 3 and from my understanding, 2 or 3 are the favorites of most Saints fans. Might be wrong considering I’m not really in the fandom. I did love my time on 3 though
@@AdamKlownzinger The usual consensus I see is SR2 had the best tone and story but with less refined gameplay while SR3 was a bit too silly for a lot of people (reasonably so I'll admit) but played better and had more variety. Hence why the fanbase is kind of split on which is the best. I love both but gameplay wise prefer 3 BECAUSE of how off the wall it is and how much freedom for insanity you have, even if the goofiness can be overkill. That said, SR2 is fantastic as well.
Jerma asking a genie for world peace and world hunger to be solved seemingly instantly, yet asking for tf3 to be released in a 6 month timeframe made me laugh way harder than it should have.
12:10 Half life is definetly harder techonology wise to make, as it has to be ground breaking like the others, TF2 is harder game wise, as there's so much to live up too that the bar is set so incredibly high
Sometimes I just forget about the psychopath in the bottom right corner and I'll randomly zone back in and the maniac will be talking about lettuce and too much mayo
The horrible non subtle alluding to a Mr. Green future cameo while calling the character 3 different names would make me, if I was rich old mr. green, never want to work with this man ever.
Jerma talking about mr green appearing makes me scared hes going to do a casino stream where he rents out a casino where chat controls the bets and he hires actors to be his characters
When Jerma says he knows he's in Boston because someone screamed a slur, meanwhile he lives in literally Sin City where the largest American massacre in at least a century occurred
Hi! I'm Saul Badman. Did you know that you don't have rights? The Constitution says you don't. And so do I. I believe that until proven innocent, every man, woman, and child in this country is guilty. And that's why I don't fight for you, Albuquerque! Better not call Saul. Saul Badman, not an attorney.
TF2 only had basic worldbuilding, and silly explanations for the silly weapons and new systems, then they decided to tie it all together with the comics (great read btw, if you haven't already you should check them out) But to me the absolute cornerstone of TF2's sucess is the classes, the amazing writing that goes into everything they do and say The game is great, and I think an amazing Team Fortress 3 is totally possible, but Valve has a daunting challenge ahead of themselves if they ever hope to make new characters that are as good as the mercenaries
