The funny thing is years later ( I played the ps5 version) it is still a buggy mess. Also I found an instant crash bug where if you go to edit Aiden's appearance and take off and put back on his beard the game will crash without fail lol.
Literally every Ubisoft game for the longest time now has been like this with the exception of Far Cry but that's only because Far Cry has been using the same game engine since 3. Ubisoft is just a dumpster fire.

Its cuz half of gamers are kids who put up with anything and the other half are people who buy and even PREORDER AAA games anyway despite acknowledging all their quality problems.
I have a 290, the 1080 is more than twice as good as that and it's still kicking strong. It surprised me when I was able to run Elden Ring on high settings at a stable 60 fps. I think the only game I've really had issues with was Tarkov due to lack of vram, so I had to keep most settings on low to get a smooth experience. If my 290 can achieve this, then a 1080 is still more than enough unless you're going for 1440p+ and higher refresh rates.
I remember they released an update for this game that reduced the render distance on PS4 and PS5 even though it could handle it because Ubisoft was too lazy to have 2 separate versions lmao
Reminds me of that time that Trendy (Or whatever they were/are called) nerfed all versions on all devices of DDA... so they would all be equal to the Switch version. I never saw, nor laughed, at a game dying so hard so quickly.
I’m brought back to jerma ranking all the Ubisoft games, where the only S was no more heroes. Honestly it’s probably true, and most people don’t think of it as a Ubisoft game.

He spends over half the video troubleshooting, finally gets 60FPS (I believe him when he says that) and then his internet decides that "I will not stream all 60FPS and make you look like a FOOL." Poor Jeremy, if it's not one thing its another.
There's not an "ever increasing computer power that you need to play new games", it's just Ubishit. I have no trouble running Elden Ring on my PC with a GTX 1060, that I built in like 2016 and it was low to mid budget back then already.
Alot of people have PCs warped and just go for buying most expensive option to fix all the problems. It's why most people who have 4090 TIs probably don't even use half of it Same types to not know how to change hertz in windows settings or type a password Bleeds into other things too, blame mass market and advertising

This guy supposedly knows nothing about ubisoft and as far as I can tell, absolutely despises them yet whenever he plays a new AAA game, it's a ubisoft title.... and he hates every second of it.
but ubi are the only ones still making AAA drive-around open world games, every other big money studio is just making 120gb multiplayer mobile games. the entire landscape is a lost cause
@@ckorp666 except for the small amount of games with some actual passion behind them (devil may cry 5, psychonauts 2, resident evil village, etc) that dont bloat your harddrive/SSD, it may be a landscape of garbage but that doesn't mean you cant dig up a few gems
You know how every game's box art has to be a short haired white guy looking serious holding a gun or it won't sell physical copies? Theres an alternate reality where everybody is like Jerma and it has to be an old lady and a fat guy in a wife beater eating a burger.
I appreciate that even though the game was brand new, we get to watch the video about 2 years later to correct that mistake and ensure we get the proper Jerma experience.
