Tekken story mode is the tutorial. They teach you everything from how to use homing moves to breaking throws. The only thing the story doesn't teach is how to wake up, which to be fair, tekken7 is the easiest wake up system tekken ever had. In 99% of situations, hold back and spam either kick or punch button. The last 1%, wake up late. T5 okizeme was a nightmare for beginners.

@@crimsonwizahd2358 He's just someone who has gotten away with having really hostile and toxic behavior for really long because for the longest time his main community (melee) was willing to tolerate it after his initial ban. I used to even be a big viewer of him when smash bros ultimate came out and he would regularly be extremely hostile towards his viewers or anyone who disagreed with him, and he would often be perfectly fine saying negative things and talking shit about people he was supposedly "friends" with (for example he did it to nairo so much that his viewers would start going into nairo's chat and repeating what leffen would say, which eventually led to nairo calling him out on twitter). Whenever he would get called out back then he would act really manipulatively and try to spin it into the person calling him out being the bad guy or something else to paint himself in a better light. He really clearly had no sense of responsibility for whatever he said or did and had never learned or grown from his poor behavior. People eventually started opening their eyes to his malevolence more recently and calling him out for the way he acts and many people have suggested to ban him again which has forced him to pretty much "lay low" and not be super controversial beyond his dumb video game takes. He now can't get away with a lot of what he would've gotten away with just a few years ago, but he still clearly has not grown beyond adapting to the community's image of him.

I mean, I don't think he's wrong. Working at McDonald's has tons of benefits that streaming a game barely anyone watches doesn't have. Stable income (even if it's minimum to near minimum wage), room to move up, longevity. A streamer's career only lasts as long as the game's popularity, and often time you have to have a certain amount of skill as well to even attract a meaningful audience. If you think about the amount of streamers that actually get big enough to make the same amount of income as working fast food, you'll quickly realize McD's is the better place to work for 99% of people. Lower skill required, (though not none), better pay, more stable pay, and depending on how much you move, you have potential to actually switch jobs. It's not great, but how many 17 year olds are going to make even a pitiable amount streaming vs making enough money to actually save up and do things working at McDonalds.

You could get away with shit talk back in the days when social media was new and people didn't know how to effectively use it, but those days are long gone. If you wanna shit talk nowadays, you better be prepared to weather the tactical nukes thrown your way. Aris gets away with shit talk because nothing he says is sincere anyway, and everyone knows it.

Honestly this is true. This is why i didn't really like tekken at all for a while. Because im trying to get to a level im nowhere close to. In like 1 day as oppose to taking L's & learning the game. Every game isnt SSBU or SFV easy to get into hard to master. Tekken 7 wouldn't be difficult if i just enjoyed the damn game.

Whats worse, is that you won't know how much you don't know about the game unless you loss repeatedly. Leffen is a fine example of knowing things, not applying then, then complaining that he doesn't know enough to play. Tekken's knowledge isn't something you should strive to aquire. What you should strive to achieve playing this game is exploring the possibilities you have and playing what suits you most. That is something you'll never learn in lab. I watched leffen stream and I was disheartened by how obviously he liked the game when he just played and hated it whenever he had to think. He thought picking up kazumi will make him play honestly but his flowchart only works if your opponent is a scrub like he was, and that's totally fine. He just won't know that his strategy/flowchart is trash until someone better teaches him how trash it is. I admit ranked online isn't that place! You can make better friends in player matches and if you message each other you can find someone with similar skill level and decent connection and you can play for months and improve together.

"Better" according to who? It's a phenomenal game as is. It's not made to be balanced or competitive. You can take it competitive and there is nothing wrong with that, but making it "better" doesn't mean "more competitive" in all cases. Maybe I misunderstood your point, though. I just don't think whining about a Nintendo game like he does is worth it. It just goes nowhere.

@@Swagtildawn less input delay and an input buffer that actually makes sense (like Smash 4) are 2 things that would improve the game massively. I think it's a "responsibility" to complain about garbage stuff or we risk them becoming the standard just because we excused something that it's overall good. If something can be better we should at least hope it can become better.

Sorry for reviving this, but wanted to add a small, related point. Most early fighting games did not really teach players much of anything about their mechanics, and seemed to be in general simpler overall than most are now. I think in Tekken's case it never grew out of that, while other games started to expand on demonstrating game mechanics and whatnot, Tekken added/changed many features without much notice. Tekken 3 arcade cabs used to give you a short list of each character's moves that you could reference, and that was it. Everything else was up to the players to discover and share.

Cuz the influential smashers that talk on twitter are almost always complaining about something, thus the sheep inherit the negative vibes or strike back with their own negative opinions. It's unfortunate but it's been most of my experience playing Smash 4 and Ultimate
