An excellent speech. If it had been made back in January 2022 by any Cabinet minister as truly appalled by Partygate as most people were, I'd give it more cred. But hats off to Javid, he has seemed more a man of integrity than most of this awful bunch.
@@rowancrew2934 Of course his speech was as much about personal 'positioning' as it was about criticising Johnson; same for those MPs who wanted Thatcher out years ago and May out more recently. On a 'best of bad bunch' basis, and that it really needs to be someone with long Cabinet experience, I reckon Javid is among the few I'd trust right now to take over as PM. The lying, deceitful buffoon needs to be outta No.10 in days not months.

You have to admire the amount of brass in the average Tory MP's neck ! They're all lining-up against Bojo with words like 'integrity', 'honesty' and 'trust' - except Boris has NEVER changed a bit !. Every MP should be bowing there heads in shame they all let the people of this country down, you can’t put the blame on one person that’s just using someone as a scapegoat they all have a voice but were unwilling to speak out. Sajid Javid is devoted to our country. When he left Deutsche Bank, he turned his back on an annual salary of about £3 million. The Evening Standard reported that leaving his finance career for one in politics would have seen Javid take a 98% pay cut!
Well done Javid press department. A department that must be funded pretty handily to post all over social media for the sole benefit of uplifting his character.

If Javid does win a future leadership election then we will be in for a rough ride as he avid Ayn Rand follower and given that Johnson is roundly frowned up his investment tactic will be replaced with more austerity as Javid likens himself to Thatcher 2.0.
Best politician I've seen in my country to be absolutely honest. The uk government has no integrity to abuse individuals rights over their corruption nore do our morally bankrupt councils and law enforcement.
