The combat in sakamoto is so flashy it’s up there with jjk, cowboy bepop, samurai champlo and AoT imo like crazy choreography it looks so fluid and good.
People really say that Gaku isn't that strong. He made Takamura move backward. That man NEVER moves backward. Takamura does not dodge. He only moves forward. Gaku made him have to actually defend himself. Edit: I have a feeling, and I know I am probably wrong, but I would love it if Takamura is Gaku's grandfather/father. It's been mentioned that the kids from the orphanage were an attempt at creating order members artificially. It wouldn't surprise me if they used the DNA of the most dangerous man alive. Also, I feel like Gaku's hair is a young man's version of Takamura's. Just a fun thought.

It seem that unlike most old characters, the older Takamura gets, the stronger he becomes. He may look like an old man, but just like Yoda, his body moves like he's on his young days whenever he starts to fight or unseathes his sword. Which is badass as fuck. Bro himself has one line in the whole manga: "So you think i have gone senile just because of my age...?"
