My husband was diognosed 2 years ago. Such a horrible and scary time fortunately now he has made a full recovery. We hope the medication will reduce the chance of another flare up. Clear to see positivity works!! Well done
I'm sorry to hear that. It's great he has made a full recovery. If you don't mind me asking, what steps was he taking to help him get to full recovery. I'm almost one year out and still have a lot of neuropathy pain.
I'm also diagnosed with MOGAD (October 2021) two month in hospital and three month in rehabilitation centre and still recovering at home. Good luck with your recovery. Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
That's the only way to handle it. As tough as it is you need to believe with all of your heart that you're tougher and will get through it. Wish you the best!
He is walking and active now. Still getting monthly treatments of IVIG to help prevent relapse. There's still a lot of symptoms but nothing close to before.
I don't think it can be fully cured. I'm currently getting a treatment every 28 days that's called IVIG to hopefully keep me from relapsing. I do have symptoms that have not gone away such as neuropathy and other things. Grateful to be able to walk and do basic activity again but it definitely isn't easy.
