I had an interest in this game immediately due to the heavy emphasis on the rice farming mechanic. I've always had an interest in rice farming and its process since my mom is from Japan and I've seen my fair share of rice farms. On top of the rice mechanic, the development team made of 2 people is impressive. I picked up the special edition on PS4 and can't wait to play it sometime this year. p.s. You make very well explained and interesting game reviews. I started binge watching all of your JRPGs reviews for that reason and somehow I have trust in you whether the game is good or bad. You hooked me on Trails of Cold Steel series from December and tomorrow I am staring the thrid game and I love it. You deserve way more viewers for that kind of work and one day you will get there. Ayy as someone who's played farming games like stardew Valley and the Rune factory series, the moment i heard the premise of this game last year i knew i had to get it. It did not disappoint :D .

D U C K S! This one is really up there on my "must-own" list. Also, apparently, this game has been selling really well, which is awesome! I'm glad wild, experimental games like this are still getting made
I can definitely see that in the side-scroll hack and slash stuff. Some Murumasa, some Little Dragons Cafe, some "How to be a Professional Rice farmer" etc. It's such a wild blend. PS. I totally made up that last game.

Saducka of Poop and Soup looks like a fine game I'd love to play if I had a Switch. I envy you for living in a place where you can easily have access to special physical editions. Here, they are either unavailable or expensive as all hell.
I actually haven't spotted this game in stores yet, and only ended up with the special edition cause the standard edition of all things was seemingly always sold out online haha. But yeah, Canada's got it pretty good compared to a lot of other places. Areas like Brazil I hear tend to have it quite rough.
I was thinking about picking up this title, looked fun but just didn't have time to get around to it. For some reason I got Muramasa vibes from this title, but instead of cutting demons you was farming.
In the final stretches of the game I had so many of them from the gathering points I just had to off load them somewhere. Besides, I was buff enough as-is haha.
This game released at a weird time, in the middle of next gen coming I was so busy with that I had to put this in the backlog and is still sealed, here’s hoping I get a shot maybe around summer
