Love how the audience not shouting or clapping at the moment of iconic part where she lower her mic unlike most other concert, they literary respect n patiently wait until the end of the song.
It is said that clapping or making any kind of sound while an interpret is interpreting is incredibly rude. Polite people usually do wait until the end.
marshmallow queen that’s what I like about Japanese live concerts it’s like they don’t need to wear flashy clothes like a nice suit or dress they can just literally wear a shirt and jeans and call it good but if they’re in a pop group I feel like they have to wear nice outfits but I feel like if you’re in a band like this you can just wear whatever you want
No drums, no bass, no other guitar sounds, no keyboard or any sound effects.. Just the three of them... This is the original Ikimono gakari.. i love this version!
@@albertusriantowibisono2408 they are on tour now but only in Japan until May 15 they will be performing a few places in Japan. You can find more information on their website :)
Literally what I like about Japanese fans. They are respectful and won't start fangirling/fanboying or clapping until you've ended your performance. They also know not to grab their favorite artists even if they're in front of them (now that's what I call self-control).
Ah, Kiyoe is really something... I recommend everyone to watch a full concert of Ikimonogakari, you'll be amazed by her live performance. I've been a fan since 8 years and I don't remember a single wrong note from her, she is a true singer who sings with her heart.
@@T4PLAYicikiwir I was absolutely astonished when I heard a live version the first time. It's sounds just like the studio version, or better! she's an amazing singer no doubt
Yeah, it’s a rare performer whose concerts can really transcend their studio albums. The feel and energy of concerts are great, but the actual song quality isn’t usually as good. The only others I can think of are Utada Hikaru, Bob Seger, and Jackson Browne. No surprise that they’re all basically bands primarily formed around the singer,
Very few artists can sing well live these days. To be brave enough, skilled enough, and be dedicated to their fans enough to share such an amazing acapella is truly mind-blowing.
Reading it in English as She sings is soo beautiful The cherry blossoms fell, fluttering down Embracing every bit of my fluttering love Even now, I'm dreaming the dream I prayed for with you that spring The cherry blossoms scatter From the train I could see The traces of one day The big bridge we crossed together Graduation time came And you left town On the colourful riverbank, I search for that day We went our separate ways And brought our spring to an end My future is in full bloom But it fills me with panic This year, once again, the cherry blossoms are reflected In the window of the Odakyuu train In my heart I hear your voice The cherry blossoms fell, fluttering down Embracing every bit of my fluttering love Even now, I'm dreaming the dream I prayed for with you that spring The cherry blossoms scatter The start of my letter to you Says "I'm doing OK" You'll see through that little lie, won't you? Even the town going past Is taking in the spring The flowers are opening their buds again this year I'll get through these days without you And I, too, will grow up Will I forget everything? "I really loved you" I hold out my hands to the cherry blossoms Now my love is wrapped in the spring The cherry blossoms fell, fluttering down Embracing every bit of my fluttering love Even now, the strong words you gave me Remain in my heart; the cherry blossoms dance The cherry blossoms fell, fluttering down Embracing every bit of my fluttering love Those days I dreamed of on that distant spring day Disappear into the sky The cherry blossoms fall, fluttering down And I walk out into the spring I clutch the dream I promised you that spring Tightly to my chest; the cherry blossoms dance
She has one of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard. So powerful and pure. Also, this is song great, it makes me feel sad, nostalgic and makes me want to cry but because it's so beautiful. Amazing.
I know Japanese but the first time I listened to it I didn't. Her voice has the power to help people reach the soul of the song without having to fully understand the lyrics.
This is what I like about Japan music culture: talent is the first priority. No need flashy clothes, no need flashy dancers with their booties shaked like no tomorrow, the only things needed are a few instruments and a pure angelic voice touch the audience's heart. I'm not saying Japan's song are all godlike, but they seem to appreciate and understand a " live performance" better than most other countries. Look at a random Kpop concert, or most Western live concert like JB or Nikki Mina, you all just hyping and jumping and shouting, even if a homeless people stole the mic and gilberish something there would be no problem at all. You're just there to feel the exciting atmosphere, the singers really don't need to do the vocal well and the result is you all get disappointed at them when you heard their voices in silence. Even great singer like Mariah Carrey or Adele, their live performance is not as strong as the recorded version. TL;DR I like this performance. (that god-like no mic show-off still give me goosebump)
Not everyone listens to music for the same reasons and they probably have singers they like purely for their talent too. So while what you say is true to some point, you shouldn't degrade western music too much and idolise Japanese ones. Don't act as if in Japan there weren't any and I quote" just hyping and jumping and shouting" either. There is different needs for different times. Teens usually want the hype. Every country has a mixture of both.
Completely agreed. No flashy clothes. No flashy dancers. No booty shaking. Even their dancing idols don't need to dance with sexuality. Art is art without any erotic element. They're like "if U want sex, watch our AV. Our art don't need sex in it." and it's very cool.
i finally found this again. i remembered playing this vid on repeat when i was in 8th grade (2013) wow it's so nostalgic. still beautiful as it was before 👌
Oh shit, that's why it sounds familiar. It's been actual years since I've watched Naruto Shippuden, LOL. Heard this today and was like ?!??! e-e "I know this song."
Thank god I found this comment because I've been searching everywhere for an opening and was just about losing my mind becuase I could swear I heard it in an anime or something.
By the way, this music is debut music of their 2006. It was used for a commercial in Japan and made a big hit. Then I almost made a hit, and the music that I released became the top artist at a stretch.
Ikimono Gakari is so unique in her own. Many Western Artist focus on looks and aesthetic, but here she is wearing casual outside clothes focusing on being real with her voice
Yeah me too first i heard ailees version then saw this one and i absolutely love it! Both versions are really good but the Japanese version i think is much more beautiful
Thank you so much! This group is not only excellent musicians. Their songs are terrific. Their live concerts are amazing. One taken down had great light works and special effects. The singer is beyond all expectations. She sings with such emotion, animation, and energy. Even thought I don't know Japanese, I agree with many who absolutely love their work. I first heard them in sound track to "Time Traveler: The Girl Who Leapt Through Time." You don't need to understand the language to be moved by great music. Ikimono Gakari is great music.
I just love this song! And now i am really happy that I can hear her voice without any sound effects! It is so pure and... amazing! Even without the microphone her voice is strong and beaultiful!
FyleStyle I know.Nowdays noobs listen to Iggy Azalea,I keep the originals like Black Sabbath, and all the other rock bands. And Japan also has the best music ever.
You know I thought when people said their fav parts was the part when her mic was down I thought they were just being mean but after watching the whole video I have to agree there's this purity and sweetness to her voice that just isn't there when she sings with a mic. I'm not saying her voice isn't good with a mic because god forbid her powerful vocals being slept on but I'm just saying that I have never watched a singer wherein using a mic actually makes their voice sound a little less better then when the singer doesn't use it.
i don't sing that great but when I've used a mic I've noticed how different it sounds than when I normally sing. It just sounds worse some how. but not that bad and it depends on the kind of mic.
This song has been my favourite since 2013, i remember me and my sister listening to this song everyday, her voice is so beautiful we were utterly in love with her voice. Truly underrated. I pity those who still don't know this song. This was and still is my all time fav japnese song!!
My all time favorite! So sad they did not perform this song at the concert I went to last September. Definitely will go one more time before leaving Japan.
