Our inaugural Salōn Session takes place at Anthony’s Cookies (@anthonyscookies) in the Mission District. Owner Anthony Lucas began baking cookies as a student at San Francisco State University. He cracked the code for baking the perfect “people pleaser cookie”, and has been at his current brick & mortar location for 14 years. He says though he appreciates support, he wants people to love what he makes.
“You go to Amazon because it’s a great product. You buy a thing because it’s a great product. That’s what makes people customers," Anthony said. “So, I would prefer customers and not supporters… I want people to come because they love the product and the service.”
