I came here for Salama. It was probably the most in-depth and unconventional interview I have ever watched. The way Nouralden compels Salama to look into and appreciate the past, especially the process of thanking everyone in the past who did and didn't do anything in her life left a profound impact on me. This is probably the best way to deal with past trauma, troubled childhood and relationship. ❤

This made me emotional. I know Salama was hurt. People react differently to heartbreaks. She may look strong but this woman was traumatized. You can tell through her words. You did well helping her calm her mind. May Allah give her heart peace of mind. May she heal aameen

Imagine giving up her university and entering the married life so young, building a family, giving him 2 kids and moving across the globe to support her man's study and career, just to end up feeling unappreciated. Being independent is amazing Salama. You go girl!!!!

as a woman i can feel the pain she' s in right now.. she wanted to cry but had to control her emotion, what a strong woman.. talking bout divorce is hard, she loves her husband as you can see.. she might look prideful or controlling but for me she's not..she just need to be strong and independent for herself and children.. i can still see the love in her eyes for her husband.. i hope you find peace and happiness in your heart with your children Salama..Allah bless you❤❤❤

i would request all the interviewers to let her heal and do not crib on her wounds. Respect her by giving her a support in solace, not by bringing her again and again on media to share what actually happened.

Alot of women go through what she has gone through and decided to keep quiet for fear of being judged, she choose to tell her story, and through this heals alot of girls and ladies. Feels like a therapy session more than an interview

Dear girls, we should all learn to be independent financially and strong mentally, most of us have the same childhood traumas and a lot of self doubt and anxiety,so this is a great lesson for all women to love themselves, work on themselves and be independent.

Divorced 3 months ago, but you have the courage to dress and come out of the house, Salama you are a strong woman, InshaAllah you will heal, and we will see you so happy soon. 😭 hung in there, Allah is with you.

I know everyone is cursing Khalid but based on Salama’s childhood trauma, you can tell she wasn’t an easy person to live with. She entered the marriage with so much wounds and trauma, and as we all know, marriage comes with its own challenges. It wasn’t easy for to carry out the responsibility of home and kids with the a huge baggage she carried from her childhood. I feel like both Khalid and Salama were the victims of wounds and trauma and depression that has never healed. I pray they both find happiness.

I didn’t like the way he interviewed her. He was rushing through questions and wasn’t calm, and she didn’t look comfortable either. He tries to incorporate a meditative approach to his questioning, but he doesn’t seem trained for it. I love Salama and wish her the best moving forward. I wish Anas from Ab Talk had interviewed her instead 😣…

Well done Salama for agreeing to share this video and helping to create mental health awareness. Although it's sad about Salama and Khalid, signs were obvious for a while. A supposedly funny video where they constantly dissed each other, felt a too uncomfortable. Around the same time Khalid undertook a fitness regime, lost weight, was travelling the world (always seemed to be without his family), increased the videos he'd put out, never mentioned Salama and generally gave the impression he's having the time of his life..... or was in denial. Whatever happened between them I hope Khalid never forgets how much Salama supported, believed and encouraged him to get to where he is today (He's admitted so in their earlier videos). But above all he should always remember Salama is the mother of his children. Wishing both well in their new future.

This was tough to watch. The pain and sadness in Salama’s eyes tell a whole story. I felt that this was an exploitive opportunity to get the inside scoop into her divorce. Whether or not she signed up for this herself, I think it’s enough to know that she’s suffered a lot. I would have loved to see more of ways that allowed her to be comfortable and more safe in the space to feel vulnerable. Many times you see she wants to break down but she’s holding it together for so long because that’s all she can do to protect herself from all the pain she’s gone through. Many people like this suffer so deeply inside and are misunderstood. May Allah ease her affairs and grant her someone that brings her safety.

The amount of hate this woman gets on Instagram is absolutely disgusting. She has done nothing, but share her experience and live in her truth and people just constantly bash her.. but yet no one bats and eye when her husband gets married four months after their divorce.. on top of that she has done nothing but speak a good things about her ex-husband and has never blamed him for anything.

Focusing on Salama now: I feel you. I hear you. I see you. I relate so much to what you said and shared. We have similar diagnosis even if the experience of each person is unique. But I related to a lot you said. Know we are amazing and deserve happiness and love and will get there. I have been there all through the last year. Asking God for help so desperately, feeling like I am not going to survive. Still comes back at times but we push through and get through. And may God bless all psychologists and psychiatrists and mental health professionals. They are angels. Also, only few people will really understand what she meant with divorce/separation being merciful. And that is big to be able to understand it and make that decision and it doesnt mean you dont hurt. Kudos to you.

She is still affecting with her childhood experience. Maybe her childhood experienced was terrible and even Eid she don’t felt any happy moments .

This was very hard and uncomfortable to watch.. i tried watching it on two setting in hopes of finishing the whole interview .. i just couldnt 😅.. Not in any way Salama's fault .. would've loved to hear her more and maybe asked better questions.
