Salamajärvi National Park & Salamanperä Strict Nature Reserve - The Land of Mystical Forest Reindeer 

On the border of two regions in the western part of Finland - Central Ostrobothnia and Central Finland - can be found the Salamajärvi National Park and Salamanperä Strict Nature Reserve. The area is known as the home of forest reindeer, which very much resembles the northern reindeer / caribou. The lakes, wetlands, rocklands and forests hold a specific atmosphere a bit similar to Lapland.
