When I heard HOA is $50 I got jealous. My condo's HOA shot up to $368/mo. It was $220/mo. when I bought it 10 years ago. And all they offer is a pool and crappy playground, landscaping and trash removal. No gym. They have a pool table in the clubhouse but you can't use it unless you rent out the clubhouse for $125 a day. I hate Connecticut so much. If I didn't recently become legally blind I'd sell this place and buy an RV and travel the country like Marc and Trish from KeepYourDaydream.
Right???? We couldn’t believe it when we heard that. Granted they cut lawn from April thru Oct but still! We have no pool but I probably wouldn’t use it anyhow. Find yourself a traveling partner!! Mar and Trish are the ones we started watching four years ago and started us on our most of the time travel. We aren’t giving that up yet but this is a fantastic rv park to call home in the winter for us!
Here there are usually a couple for sale. The nice ones go pretty fast. Creekside you have to be Johnny on the spot. We were in the right place at the right time to get our creekside lot.
Where is this? 9 days ago, I would imagine it’s sold pretty quickly. How long have you been owners there? Is there any in door storage facilities near by?
Yes there is storage nearby. Still available. We’ve owned for two years and are staying in the park. We bought a creekside lot which are very hard to get.
It is a great thing when you don’t have to mow the lawn. We aren’t here all summer so that works great for us. We like the rules as it keeps the park neat and clean.
