If we have two users x and y with same profile and both x and y users are having read and Edit access in profile.but y user is not able edit the record..what will be the reason.?

Hi Kanika..thanks for all your videos. Could you please answer this scenario. There is a picklist/checkbox value as 'strategy' associated to Account object. How to get the same value to its newly created contacts? I told interviewer via trigger but he isn't satisfied. Thanks in advance.
Hi Divyasree, Picklist/checkbox is custom field in Account Object that has value as "Strategy" suppose as picklist in your case So here related/child object for Account is Contact, you need same value in Contact object for this Picklist (here i named the custom picklist field name as Technique) We can create formula field in Contact with same field name(Technique) like below IF(ISPICKVAL(Account.Technique__c,"Strategy") ,"Strategy", IF(ISPICKVAL(Account.Technique__c,"Non Strategy"),"Non Strategy","")) Is this solved your qn?
