Lightning is slow, much slower than Classic. Lightning disables, or more accurately breaks functionality of many browser extensions. Lightning attempts to be a browser, which there is no need for. Lightning should be scrapped, and development restarted, if the goal is to improve on Salesforce Classic.
don`t listen only to this easy noproblemeverythingworksfantasticprettygoodnbetter presentation. If you wanna have a reality report from the beginning to lightning, you should contact someone, who is operating in reality with the system. I don`t talk about the management who choosed SF, their mind is clear :-)) I mean someone working in a overall client position, who has contacts to the clients , same to the sales front and marketing sections. Someone experienced like that. can give you within hours a shortcut topdown including SFL services on process and of course what is coming up to ya bug/Stutz/Fränkli cash depot for special sw wishes. Then ya gonna know both sides and believe me, your decision well be better based for pro or contra SFL:-) It is for sure not bad, but I think it is not a solution for all and so easy like shown above.
