oh. my. god. 10k views. 10K VIEWS!! thank you all so much. i truly didn’t think i’d get this much support and such kind words from you all, so thank you thank you thank you
i can’t believe wilbur soot makes these amazing songs but at the same time he’s literally a ghost who blew up the entire nation and died in the hands of his father lmao
Wanted to learn how to play Saline Solution by Wilbur Soot Tried to find youtube tutorial Found youtube tutorial Tried to tune e to D Broke my e string Anyhow, really nice tutorial 5/6 strings would reccomend.
holy fuck. i cannot express how much of a help this has been i struggled even with the tuning and this man just plays the strings and says each note which was enough for me to tune it easily, along with a tuning app on my phone ive been learning guitar for about 4 weeks now and i can now play this song (scuffed) and it took me only around an hour to learn this entire thing either way, thank you so much for this tutorial
learning the cover now! i’ll update soon.. 😭 edit: i got it but the strumming is hard 😔 edit: I LEARNT IT WOOO EDIT (5 MONTHS LATER): HEY, JUST WANNA SAY THAT DONT GIVE UP TRYING THIS, ITS PRETTY SIMPLE ONCE YOU GET IT LY edit: its been 9 months and im relearning it, all though its so much easier now
if anyone wanted to know, the actual strumming pattern wilbur uses is DDU-DUDDDU-DUDUDDDU (starts on the second cord / 4th fret) but it doesnt really matter since they both sound similar :P
I’ve watched wilburs tutorial and the other guys and now yours and by putting all the knowledge together I’ve really been able to learn this song. Thanks man
I'm incredibly confused by the strumming pattern, you do it differently in the video multiple times and the one in the description is different and it contradicts the tab, and if it is the one in the description are the dashes when the chord changes are? but great video otherwise has helped me with the intro tremendously.
honestly strumming patterns dont really matter much once you get into it, for the intro part it does but that was pretty clear, for the rest just flow with it, its the chord progression that really matters
hey there again! my apologies, it seems the video description didn't save when I edited it. I've double checked this time, and it should be correct now! hope this helps you, and if you have any other issues on it, please let me know, I'd be happy to help :)
for the tapping you can also do (all on bass strings): Loose on the second string from the top 3 on the first string from the top loose on the top string 3 string from the top loose 2 on the second string from the top and the second one: loose second string top 3 on the first string top loose on first from top 3 on second string top loose on first string top if questions: comments exist and i will respond
> find tutorial and watch it > requires retuning guitar and i dont want to do that now so i save it for later > 11 months later > go back to the tutorial > finally attempt to retune the guitar > break high e string > replace high e string > finally tuned correctly > can't find capo (idk why i chose to do this in greentext form it just felt right) edit: CONTINUED !! > look everywhere for capo > as a last resort ask brother if he's seen it (never works) > ITS IN HIS ROOM > reunited with my capo i have gone great lengths to play this song
this was so nice to watch, it was just so chill. i didn’t even have my guitar next too me but i still sat through this entire video. this was so nice :D
Thank you so much!! I’ve been trying to teach myself to play the guitar, but I did not understand the tabs at all,, I had no idea what pull-offs even were or how to do them. This has been a great help, I’ve learned a lot! Thank you :D
I remember watching this to learn the song almost a year ago, you really inspired me to really start learning guitar (I was already learning to but it was just basic things over and over for months), thank you man :)
I’ve been wanting to learn this song for a while! And this tutorial was very very helpful! You really took your time to go through everything to make it understandable! Thank you!
oh my god thank you so muchhh! you have no idea how much time i spent crying over a tab i couldnt figure out lmao, but thanks to you i can actually play it now :)
I can’t find a tutorial for ukelele so I was just scrolling through this whole video just for the Strumming pattern turns out it’s in the discription lol, y’all guitar players are very cool by the way I could never handle 6 strings
I just spent a good amount of time tuning my guitar for this and now realize I need a capo and I don’t have one yet :’) I’m gonna get one and then learn this though
You should do a tutorial for I'm in love with an e-girl, I learned this song so fast as soon as I saw this. I've tried learning from other videos before but none ever worked
This really helped alot, I just got given my grandmother's guitar and I plan to become really good at it and this seems like a really good song to start off with.
This song is for intermediate/experienced beginner players, I think you should start off with an easier song. Fly me to the moon by Frank Sinatra is a good starter song! :)
My notes : _____________ C G D G B D _____________ Down Down Down Up Up Up Down Up Down Up Down Down Down Down Up Up Up Down Up Down Edit : Crap it was in the description XD ______________
I’m a little confused on what to play which chords on the strumming, is it the first chord for DD-UUUDUDU, second for DDDD, third for UUUDUDU? sorry I’m a bit confused
I dont have a capo and tried w a pencil capo but it made the sounds like weird- :|| ill update if i figure something out Got a capo :) currently struggling w the tapping tho
@@fart_enthusiast7 no but srs ive been trying to learn this song for 3 weeks now, so don’t quitttt AHAHHA NO BUT IN THE BEGINNING I DIDNT EVEN KNOW HOW TO DO PULL OFFS AHAHAH
@@okay-nx2tb i quit and went back to piano lmao- GOODLUCK!! im rlly bad and impacient with these sort of things- im sorry lol- anyways goodluck! NDJFJSN
Now sadly I'm not so much of a pro and can't reach the strings OR don't have that tight thingy on the 5th fret, this is gonna take a very long time to learn :'( i don't remember how to play any chords lmao
Hi, do you need capo to play this? I really want one but my dad won't buy one for me. Literally all the songs i like require capo but i don't have one :( !!!
Technically you dont neeeed one, although it won't sound the same without. You can buy cheap ones on wish for 1.05 American dollars. But it would take a long time to get to you. At the same time you can get one cheap at any local music store
U can try the pencil capo trick which all u need to a a pencil and a rubber band and put the pencil on the fret u need and put the string over the end and under the other end
