Wow spent all summer every summer growing up at the beach, then lived there year round in my teens for many years. My great grandparents owns a huge amount of property on north end blvd, and old town way, one place was a winery on north end blvd. I’m guessing around the 1940’s. They left cottages to all the children. My grandparents property was on both no end blvd and old town way. I never knew about about the forts and all that, but I’m only 15 minutes into the video, and loving your presentation so far. Thank you. So glad this is on RU-vid too.
Could it be that the Hope Chapel was rebuilt after that fire in the early 1900's? I'm 75, and remember it as a boy. In fact, summers I worked in the center until closing, and one night on my walk home, very late, I could see a fire in the belfry. I hustled home and woke my parents. I can't remember if THEY called it in, or someone else came along and spotted it.
What would you do with the town of Merrimack that 8 cents per gallon and and a sewer charge and cannot destinquish between watering your garden and flushing a toilet. Martine just bought a house there and is afraid to put in a garden
