Technically, we did see it in "Doomsday Project", since Sonic & Sally locked hands and had been granted the power of the Deep Power Stones (basically the cartoon equivalent to the Chaos Emeralds).

Actually the first one was the Tiara commercial I did for the TIARA THE MANX video haha, but as a solo animation, pretty much! :D

Thank you for the feedback! Actually, there are many other medias and wikis who claim that Sally is indeed a Chipmunk, but there are other places who says she's a squirrel! Since she's a non canon character who had a lot of writers, it makes sense for that inconsistency to happen one time or another, haha. So I decided to go for Chipmunk to keep some consistency!

SEGA (albeit, the original American branch thereof, which actually preceded the Japanese branch back when SEGA was known as SERVICE GAMES & had Alex Kidd as the company mascot prior to the development of Project Needlemouse, which eventually became Sonic the Hedgehog) used Ricky the Squirrel (one of Sonic's "tiny animal friends" that's rescued from the egg-shaped container [basically a forerunner to the Roboticizer from this cartoon] at the end of each stage in the 16-bit SEGA Genesis Sonic video games) as her base (that said, even some early promotional art featuring Ricky! Sally -- in other words, take the standard Ricky base template & slap an oversized red bow on top to indicate femininity & subsequently rename her to Sally Acorn -- shows her with two tails & flying through the air just like Miles "Tails" Prower, who is a two-tailed fox [or kitsune in Japanese anime lingo], which only adds more fuel to the "Is Sally part fox?" confusion, since Sally's existence as a gender-bent Ricky in the West actually came before Tails made his debut in Sonic 2), so she is actually more squirrel than chipmunk, but technically, since her parents are mixed species themselves (King Max isn't a fox like many falsely presume he is, he just an oversized squirrel & his wife, Queen Alicia [Alicia is also conveniently Sally's middle name & was also the faux name she used when interacting with her past self in "Blast to the Past" when she & Sonic attempt to go back in time to stop Jullian Kintobor's coup, only to get there the day of the event & getting to witness it in real-time with Uncle Chuck, King Max, nanny Rosie, and their younger counterparts alongside the other young Freedom Fighters], is a chipmunk), Sally's technically known as a ground squirrel (a squirrel/chipmunk fusion). She doesn't even get the recognizable chipmunk stripe down her back until after the Second Genesis Wave post-reboot, at which point, her days are sadly numbered.

No. Amy's too young for Sonic. Sonic's 15+. Amy started out originally as 8 years old, but was bumped up to age 12, but that's still too young for older teen/young adult Sonic, since Amy's still an adolescent by comparison. Plus, SEGA's basically mandated that its corporate mascot can't be in a stable, committed romantic relationship, so all pairings involving "The Blue Blur" (including previously canon SonSal/Sonally) are null & void, with Ian Flynn hypocritically saying that, had the Archie Sonic comics not gotten cancelled in 2017, then post-reboot Sally would've come out as bisexual and would've been put into a relationship with sentient A.I. Nicole in her now permanent Holo-Lynx form (since her old handheld computer form was now obsolete due to the future she originally came from being erased from existence & no more parts for her handheld computer form being manufactured), whom, Ian Flynn was hinting at having a crush on her mistress (which is what Sally essentially is to Nicole, since Nicole is basically an handmaiden to Sally in her Mobian form, thanks to Sally's status as royal Princess of Mobius).

He'd be a crown prince in the original canon, because Sally's only a princess there, because her parents are still alive (just captured [in The Void/The Zone of Silence]/in hiding or M.I.A) & she's only 16 to Sonic's 15.

The Archie Sonic comics having Sonic mack on all of his female costars is out-of-character for Sonic, as is the whole "Sally slapping Sonic" BS from issue 134 because Jonathan H. Gray, an admitted SonAmy fanbrat hired as an artist intentionally drew in the offending slap himself deliberately to make Sally look bad, so he & the issue's writer Karl Bollers could force SonSal/Sonally to breakup & push towards SonAmy, even if Amy's too young for Sonic officially, just for fan backlash to basically come at them for ruining Sally as a character and for Jonathan H. Gray to publicly throw Karl Bollers under the proverbial bus when Karl tried to respectfully placate to the angry fanbase, whereas Jonathan didn't care that he ruined Sonic's only canon romance, he just wanted his Japanese-approved lolita bullocks to be allowed into the Sonic world officially when Sonic's real creators Naoto Oshima & Yuji Naka both said that SonAmy is non-canon & that Amy will always be chasing something she can never have, because Sonic's too old for her/Amy's too young for him, whereas Sonic & Sally are only one year apart in age (Sally's 16 to Sonic's 15). When Sonic ends up in another world in Sonic '06, Princess Elise is basically Princess Sally if she were human (a brunette/auburn-haired princess who's in love with Sonic), except she doesn't have Sally's tomboy attributes, nor does Princess Elise wear minimal clothing to accentuate said tomboy aesthetic like Sally did in her traditionally "nekkid" design, because if Princess Elize were an almost nude female woman with Sonic in Sonic '06, the game would've warranted an M+ rating & wouldn't have been able to be marketed to the children Sonic's generally marketed towards as a brand. But back to Amy, as she is canonically too young to be with Sonic romantically, since she started out as 8 years old in Sonic CD but had her aged increased to 12 years old when the "Modern" redesigns to the newly internalized video game continuity was introduced in 1998, yet even that's still too young for Sonic, since Sonic's 15+ (an older teen/young adult), whereas Amy's still an adolescent.
