Salmon in Marquetry - The Nature of the Sixth Sense 

Darkened edges and single complex shapes make me think this was cut using a laser and assembled by hand.

As a woodworker I can only dream of creating something like this. Beautiful work.

Using a laser to cut out your pieces and put this “Art?” Together is a bit like assembling a puzzle and saying, “I painted this”. Mechanized Marquetry is insulting.

Fun to see 5% of the process.

this is totally amazing. How can you reach that level of details ? I wouls love to see the cutting process, how are you getting to tiny parts. I would love to learn this Art.

Beautiful images. Is there a step not shown here, when the assembled pictorial items are inserted into the ripple grey background? All the way through the assembly seems to be onto a tacky surface over the drawing. If the pieces are to be in a background (which I'd think essential for marquetry) I would have though it would be easier to insert the pieces into "windows" in the background veneer?
