Chris Do you realize how much you help us 🎣 catch fish!!!Thank you Thank you!!From Wilson Olcott and Oak Orchard Lake Ontario,NY.Your tips and tactics work here too
Awesome looking wind sock at your dock Chris , is that a dreamweaver product!! Lol . Thanks for all you do , I know you have helped me put more fish in the box .
👍👍👍👍 Just got done setting up the boat and you popped on.I can't believe Half of your setup is what I have picked out already. 😆 The other half is stuff I don't have....yet. Going out of Frankfort tomorrow morning. Some big kings have been showing up lately. Meatrigs have been on fire for them. Good luck out there. See you Sunday night
Great video. I fish on the Wisconsin Illinois side out of North Point marina. It’s interesting how your lure selection is different that the “hot” bates over here. What does that say about lure selection?
Hey Chris, I first mate out of Sheboygan on the Wisconsin side. Do you ever run sliders on your downriggers? They have been pretty hot for us as of late, easy way to get more baits in the water especially when running a full boat of customers. Would love to chat or exchange numbers sometime to talk fishing. Good luck out there. -Nate the Mate
Chris, do you catch a fair percentage of fish on that big paddle/fly on your chute rigger or is it mainly used as an attractor to get fish into the spread?
Chris, curious about your chute rigger. I don’t have that paddle but know lots of charters that run that on the chute. I don’t have a chute rigger. Two questions: Will that work on a non-chute rigger? Also, what is the name and size of that paddle?
Hey chris, im thinking of trolling for salmon this september, im going to run a dipsy flasher fly combo, but have no clue where to start? Any tips for (September)
@@tangledtacklefishing I hear ya. I'm hoping we get on some fish. Last year wasn't so hot come home with 1 lol but this year I'm rigged up alot different. Lead core, dipsys, spin doctors near rigs and spin doctors with flys downriggers etc. Jplugs spoons all sorts of goods. Rod trees. Had none of the above last year lol
Quick question on running your flies. It appears you are running some backwards. The thread appears to be forward. Not that it matters that much, but I did notice one had a bullet head and that way set up correct. Is this an over site or are you running the red thread forward for a reason. Just an observation.
It depends on which fly I’m running. That particular fly happens to be a pickled sunshine which I run in that fashion. Other flies I run other ways. For me it just boils down to personal preference and what is work for me over the years.
@@tangledtacklefishing thank you.. love your videos. If you need a first mate, I may be looking for a job. lol. Might be a healthcare worker out of work for not taking a jab. It time to stand up!, and after 21 years of military, I can’t see this country go to the bottom.
Probably not. I would have to keep meticulous notes and I’m going to be changing out presentations many times as day goes on. And just to be honest I am way too busy right now.
How on earth do you guys run 13 rods without having an absolute tangle fest? We're only allowed 1 rod per person and we get tangled with 3 rods lol. 2 riggers, running one stacked.
I don't know what kind of lines you have. Copper, led core e.t.c. I would definitely run j-plugs. Green splatter back anything with a blue back. Flaser fly I love the Kevin's girlfriend spin doctor with a river side fly. Through some stinger stingray spoons down there. Mag spoons. Bait is big this year so you use big lures.
