About Master Sushi Chef Hiroyuki Terada:
Master Sushi Chef Hiroyuki Terada is one of the top Japanese Chefs in the entire world and the most popular Japanese chef on RU-vid.
At age 10, Terada learned the basics of sushi from his father and then went on to attend RKC Chef's School in Kochi, Japan from 1987-1989. He soon earned a nickname for his fast knife, attention to detail, divine presentation and ability to create new dishes and accents based on traditional Japanese cuisine. After graduating RKC Chef School, he was called to serve under Master Chef Kondo at Yuzuan restaurant in Kochi, Japan from 1989-1992. Mr. Kondo is the master of Kansai style cooking, considered to be the high-end of Japanese cuisine. Terada earned the title Master Sushi Chef by becoming the standing head sushi chef & can serve Fugu (Japan Licensed) to the public.

Chef Hiroyuki Terada is using the Minonokuni Matsu-1573 210mm Yanagi. Super Blue Steel. Can also be used for breaking down whole fish and chickens. But normally for slicing, sashimi, vegetables, meat etc.. This is Chef Hiro's custom specked knife.

Seriously I’m so impressed with Hiro-sans knife skills. I wonder if others recognize this. He makes it look easy when in fact it is very difficult

Lol I save the cucumber seeds too and eat them later with a pinch of salt, cayenne and lime. If I’m out of cayenne than some tapatio or valentina hot sauce.

Last month my mom took me to a restaurant that she visits often. It is called Okii Poke in a nearby city called Webster, Texas. She loves the Truffle Shoyu, so she orders the Tofu. I got to try Shrimp Tempura for the first time.

Really yum. I suggest that the sliced cucumber could be made into a quick pickle with finely sliced Fresno chilis, because I'm from Fresno, but something much fiery could be used. I simply like some kind of fiery kick when having fish made raw this way or with civiche. Great job guys.

I swear that I did not think you two are couple lol :p Poke donburi, one of my go-to dish when I am not up to cook for a meal, that Yum Yum sauce is a must and works so well with variety ingredients! There are quite a few Poke outlet here in Vancouver now, hope it will become a trend so many could enjoy this simple but yet delicious dish from Japan.
