I was tempted to get a pair recently when I saw them on discount but felt I could wait. Based on the specs, I would say is kind of similar to Hoka Rincon 3 (I use for faster workout and kind of easy days). Maybe if I manage to get a pair for later on, would be a good option to consider
Great video, thanks Chad! Appreciate the feedback on the midsole, tongue and value for money comment. Seems like the shoe has been on special on the web for around $80. My wife is looking for a road runner to go out on about once a week, mostly less than 10k's per run. Would you say it's worth a try?
I'd say yes, it's worth a try. I continue to run in this shoe and do like it. Another fun show with a very soft/bouncy midsole is the New Balance FuelCell Rebel v3: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kMw0d08Byog.htmlsi=6J2pjyPIAyTE__4j
It definitely acts like a racing flat, however it's not designed to be a racing shoe, though that's not to say you can't race with it. It's supposed to be a shoe that you can use in your training on those faster days but compared to a lot of other recent road shoes (such as the New Balance Rebel v3 or even the Skechers Razor 4) this one feels less alive. I appreciate the comment and you watching the video!
Looking for a light breathable shoe to walk around disneyworld. It's going to be hot. I do not run it will a shoe I use for walking only. Any thoughts on this shoe or any other breathable shoe I could use for my trip. Thanks for your time
The shoe is definitely breathable and in my opinion would work quite well as a walking shoe. Just know that there's not a lot of padding on the upper so getting the fit with the laces just right and not too tight will be key. Another breathable shoe to consider could be the New Balance Propel v4. You may also consider the Altra Torin 6 or 7 if you want to shoe with a little more room in the toes (although not quite as breathable as the other two shoes mentioned). Hope that helps!
