I love your videos!! I am about to start cosmetology school, and I have been watching every one of your videos, from beauty school stuff to relationship advice. Thank you for all that you do! It has really helped me out!❤️
Your kit came with some really good quality tools. My blow dryer went out and shears got dull 2 years out of cosmetology school ( they weren’t the type you could resharpen). I felt we were jepped as much as we paid for our kits, even though I know the stuff isn’t suppose to last forever.
SpAcED_ OuT I think they were classified as student shears, they weren’t even resharpable. My shears now as a professional costed a pretty penny. The real kicker was the group that came in after us got better quality stuff in their kits. We paved the way with our complaining...smh
SpAcED_ OuT we had a few shear companies come to the school, but I didn’t have the money at the time. I can only remember one girl from our group buying a pair when they came to visit.
Great video. I totally get the dryer thing. I always end up switching mine off accidentally so it takes me ages to find just the right one when buying a new one lol. The salon is really cute ☺️
omg!!! your so funny at 10:05 minute >.< :D I love ur video I wanted to know if I needed to buy my own products now that im working or my boss have to give the he products to use it on the clients, cuz every time I finished a haircut I have to run to her station for everything. but I think I have to buy it
Glad you enjoyed it! I also don't like using my marcel because I like to give my clients a little tutorial when they're in my chair and teach them how they can recreate the style I do on them at home, and most people just have regular spring irons!
I would love to just be a colorist. Cutting hair isn't my thing but I love bleaching and dying I find it to be a lot of fun! I should look into this lol
Quick question. I’m currently attending Paul Mitchell. Did you ever experienced favoritism in class ? And if so? How did you handle it ? Or if anyone who sees my comment, who’s in beauty school or graduated who has been through that experience?
No, I don't think I did. I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just try to get through it, because beauty school is such a small percentage of your career (time wise) and you'll really learn SO MUCH more once you're working in a salon.
Hey girl! I’m in Paul Mitchell too!!! I definitely experience some favoritism mostly because we only have 2 Paul Mitchell schools in my state, and one of them closed so all those students came to us, and those people tend to be treated better for whatever reason, i think the teachers feel bad that they had to switch schools, but they definitely get away with a lot more. But overall, don’t worry about it. If you keep to yourself you should be fine. I find that the teachers respect you more when you show that you’re there to work and do hair and not socialize. Hope this helps!!!
Sam vay I’m in cosmetology school right now I’m at almost 600 hrs I love it a lot but at times it gets really hard and I have had times that I wanted to quit Any advice for me.
