The results are great! I looked up their prices and 160$ starting price for a blow dry & trim on less than shoulder length hair is astronomical. I’m looking for a salon I’d be able to continue to visit for hair maintenance and it’s too expensive for me on a continuous basis.

I just got a silk press too for the first time in two years. Finally at waist length hopefully next time I’ll be at tailbone then I’ll chop it all off cuz dis tew much work😂

Yea I was scared but it was much needed and now I can focus on retaining the health of my hair! & your trim came out so good! We’ve all waited a lil too long to trim😅
She did a very nice modified U shape cut on you and I like those cuts the most because it allows for enough length retention where the cut isn't jarring. I can see where another stylist might have done a blunt cut straight across above all of the damage, but I don't like blunt cuts and it irritates me to see them lol.
I miss silk press !!!! I’ve big chopped three times now because of them they always leave my curls damaged and never last more than a day for me :( this is so beautiful !!!!!!
It came out fabulous. I would be interested in seeing a video on what you think caused the damage and what you may do different going forward to prevent it from happening again.
I wanted to ask this too. I was recently hit with having to take 5 inches off. I thought I was doing everything right. I wondered if me not trimming was the culprit cuz the hair grew. The ends were just thin.

how often do you plan to get it professionally trimmed now?? i just filmed and uploaded my silk press and we are in the same boat lol. my ends hadnt been professionally trimmed in 2 years bc i dont use heat but im thinking i should go every few months now but i also dont wanna get heat damage. helppppppp!
I’ll be getting my hair trimmed every 10-12 weeks from now on. You don’t have to get a silk press every time you trim. You can do it on blown out hair or it can be cut wet (but be careful with curly cuts)

I've been there so many times where I've been so happy with my crown and glory to find damaged ends time and time again I've had to stop using ALL hair styling products even natural hair colours have been drying my hair I don't recommend many products use only natural

Did you even watch the video🤭🤔Split ends are damage and that’s why most people get them trimmed to grow long healthy hair. You don’t understand that she was trying to be nice🤯 Anyone with common sense knows split ends are damage. But sometimes you feel bad for people or want to be more professional so they pat you on the back and dismiss you➡️🚪 Now go read a book or actually watch the girl’s video🤪

Sis I hear you! I haven’t been to a salon in years so idk when prices got so damn high! when I started researching, I didn’t find a single salon that did silk press & trims for any less than $125-$150🙃. She didn’t charge extra for my length but I did pay extra for the cut because the amount she cut off was considered more than a trim
