@ Tiffany Allen THIS is why I don’t go to black beauticians! When she said “ she has 4b, a, c whatever”🤦🏾‍♀️ Then proceed to “detangle” aka yank that child’s hair😩 She should have washed and detangle that baby’s hair in sections with oil and or conditioner to help properly detangle her hair. I’ve had similar detangling experience at a beauty salon and it was the last time! Now I do my own hair at home.

Right...and then still want you to pay for it. When my old stylist used to get cheeky about what she wanted to do to my hair, if I wasn’t in agreement, I’d simply ask her ‘you doin it for free?’. That used to the end the argument there and then. 🤷🏾‍♀️ I can’t be paying for something I have clearly said that I do not want. End of story.

A few years ago a man with his daughter approached me in a Target to ask if knew how to straighten her curls. As I didn’t know much about styling 4a-c hair, I could only tell her to use heat protectant and a flat iron on clean hair. I wish I’d seen some of these videos back then so I could have helped her better!

@@roxtarreign9133 If it hurts the stylist isn't taking their time but EVERYBODY should buy some DETANGLER (like what you use on the little girls hair) You need to section and DETANGLE your OWN hair before arriving.. Remember the stylist has other clients and cant spend 35 min on just detangling your hair. Comb and DETANGLE your OWN hair before Arriving PERIOD .. Clearly the girl in the chair did not and this is what you get from the stylist. Your not paying the stylist to DETANGLE your hair your paying your stylist to wash, condition and press and style your hair. If your hair needs to be DETANGLED that should have been discussed with the stylist in Advance so that yall are on the same page but to just arrive with your hair looking like a brillo pad is just wrong

I’m a licensed cosmetologist but I never had to press out natural hair. My mother started relaxing my hair when I was 7 years old. My hair was down to my elbows and much thicker than your client. Anyway, my 25 yr old son likes his hair long and straight but he keeps his hair natural. Even when I straighten it, his hair reverts because we live in the northeast, where it is humid, even in the winter. Do you have a list of products that will work in humid weather? We both have soft 4c hair. Thanks.

Can we just talk about the fact that she didn’t hack off all her hair like some stylists out there. She only trimmed what was required. Thank you! I remember he. I was 12 and my hair was the length of this young client. My mom took me to the hair beautician just to get my hair *BUMPED* 👈 It was the 90’s 😂. Anyway, she ended up cutting my hair and gave me a mushroom cut to the ears. I cried. Very traumatic experience as a child. My mom was not happy.

I'm a 40 year old white bloke from Britain. But I've been on a RU-vid algorithm binge on black hair for hours! It started off with what nappy hair meant from a line in stevie wonders "I wish", and I've gone down the rabbit hole. It's blown my mind about how much time, work and effort it takes to make black hair look a certain way. Like the heat the time the chemicals, it's fucking crazy! I never knew there were different levels of curls or anything. Every barber shop should definitely have one black hair specialist. I always wondered when I was growing up, my black mates would always get their hair done by family members instead of just getting a cut at school. Black hair is so amzingly complex.

Yes every time I get a white stylist fear grabs my heart cuz usually something goes wrong. But they get so remorseful and I feel bad..like “oh no it’s ok..” I’m black and white so it’s thick and textured but also…idk easier. Like it does exactly what you want it to do. If that makes sense. I told a stylist at a spa “I want t it washed and straightened” I should have said “flatironed” because she gave me a blow out and when she said she was done and if I liked it I just laughed awkwardly… She knew it was I Hideous before she asked 😂 I felt so bad for her…

髪質とか色々ありますからね。剛毛の人ってダメージに強いというかダメージ与えないとサラサラにならなかったりくせっ毛が取れないからあえてパーマ掛けてその後暫くしたらストレート？にするって聞いた事あります。くせっ毛が強い子供が赤ちゃんの頃に坊主にするのと同じ理由らしいです。

海外大時代のブラジル人の友人がこういう髪質の方って逆に凄く髪が細くて脆いって言ってましたよー！だからストレートにする為の強力なストパーは高い上に髪が溶けるリスクがあるからしたくないらしいです。。だから日本人からは想像つかないほどストレートの髪の毛への憧れがあるみたいですね。

I love the whole look! Soft, pretty, and natural-looking. I also rarely wear edge control. When I do, it isn't way more shiny than the rest of my hair - I hate that. Loving all of your videos.
