Salsa Talk #5 - The 10 Best Reasons to Start Dancing or to Start Dancing Salsa 

Salsa saved my life, literally. I found meaning that I had somehow lost.

At the age of 67 I’ve been doing salsa dancing for 2 years in our local village hall in the northeast of England I can honestly say it’s the best thing I’ve ever done. We have a fantastic teacher and such a friendly group of people go. We have social dances probably every 6 / 8 weeks,honestly it’s brilliant and your so right alcohol not required to have a great night. I love watching your channel, thank you so much.

I started dancing because I am a bit shy and it was a great way to meet people and get out of my shell and socialize more.

Thanks for confirming what I think and say to friends and family. Keeping in shape and meeting people are two excellent reasons and of course maintaining the dancing habit is crucially important. Doing it regularly and often, just like keep fit exercises , is vital.0I admit to being a fanatical salsaholic , but also do modern jive/ceroc. My wife suggested we start salsa over two years ago, to improve my footwork as we weren't doing much of that in ceroc. Of course modern jive/ceroc is partly based on salsa so there are a lot of movements and techniques common to both. Thank you for your excellent videos which are helping me to increase my salsa vocabulary. I shall conclude with that famous phrase from a popular TV show here in the UK : keep dancing!

So we could exchange not only on computers and software ...
