Also love the fact he got a punish counter on the buttslam multiple times but he doesn't even know the combo afterwards

Yea I love Honda but he is so braindead it’s impossible to play him and actually feel any satisfaction.

I agree he's cheap but this honda was a monkey, do not compare this to a good honda. You never see honda in pro because ppl know how to deal with his bs, and the only honda players that get that far have to learn to switch it up. You can diagonal HK fakeout into command grab, you can short trade LP>MP into headbutt (which can be difficult to charge) or go into a launch with HK, you can choose to use forward palms to carry opponent into corner, you can micro his aerial HP to alter trajectory, etc. The main problem with honda is his butt slam is very spammable, they need to add more cooldown to it, cuz otherwise noobs just spam it.

Because he lacks range to punish it.

If a Honda player sees you trying to punish headbutt too often, they will just ex headbutt or ex butt slam their way through. They can also wakeup super you. You can challenge it sometimes, but not every time. Only a blocked Ex headbutt or a very poorly spaced heavy headbutt can be consistently punished.

Yeah, i think he was just tryna parry. Most times he but slam jimmy wasn't in a good position too

its very weird, depending on the position and button pressed, the butt slam goes behind you and you are in for a punish counter combo... The best option is to perfect parry...

Ever tried anti air butt slam with Shoryuken in SF5? If Honda uses the far one, your DP will simply whiff and Honda will be waiting on the ground. Same here.

I'm guessing the Honda player can bait DP by doing different versions of butt slam.
