Notice the massive air pollution. That’s year round in SLC. The water is also polluted in many parts of the state and due to their virtually non-existent pollution control laws, rates of autism and other serious ailments have skyrocketed. Also, if you don’t mind driving for 45 minutes to get to the store (since it’s all sprawled out and car centric) you’ll be ok. If you actually want to get around without needing to sit in traffic for half of your life, you may consider moving to a greener state.
Curtis Fox No, it really isn’t. I lived in Downtown SLC for years and the air was always disgusting. It’s one of the main reasons Utah has some of the highest rates of illness directly related to the air quality in the nation. One of the many reasons I moved away to the Pacific Northwest where they have strong environmental protections that give us clean air to breath and clean water to drink.
