The grave scene for me was THE pivotal moment. The film is so much about him winning, taking the things he wants and conquering people. But, here we wonder if he in fact didn’t win with Jacob’s character (and now never will). He wanted more from this character - both his life AND his love. And once he’s dead the unconquerable distance between them means he will never win the love he craved.

really liked you guys critic of the film, nice to hear about different take or idea on those flashback scenes, Barry's Character seems to like to gloat which probably enhanced that ending dance sequence maybe

I much preferred Promising young woman, I usually go away and get the inkling to watch a movie again or not, it's a little dark for me and don't feel the need to watch it x LOVE THE POD

Another awesome ep, but this film seems like a very uncomfortable watch. I've watched a bunch of disturbing stuff, but still might not be ready to watch this film yet. This film is a pretty good example of how psychopaths can get into personal and family lives without anyone having a hint of their plans due to how benign they seem. It also highlights the class difference that unfortunately still remains an issue all over the world. This is why I love FFC so much, they've introduced me to a variety of films that I otherwise might not have found in a hundred lifetimes.
