"Do they do this on purpose?" Does it matter? If they do they are malicious, and if it is a mistake - every time - they are terribly incompetent. Which of both is worse?

They should have absolutely done something to immediately stop the duping. Whether it be disabling the rentals from invictus, or disabling the ability to purchase RMC. Having this happen for as long as it did and for the entire duration of free fly is such a bad look for the game and for new players.

RMC shouldn't even be purchasable right now. RMC and CM should solely be a commodity handled by the salvagers, until we have a proper use for it.

I heard they knew about the duping before shoving it live. They don’t care when money can be made…. We need them to care, respect us, communicate, build, then profit. But it’s not going in that order.. :(

@@IrisCorven I disagree entirely. Having a neutral faction that lives in a location that is all about 'salvaging' is a cool thing to have. You also have to remember in 3.23.2 they wont provide enough RMC to fill a C2 and some locations you'll have manually load cargo, eg settlements like Pickers Field, Dunboro, Rappel because they dont have platforms and elevators.

The F8 does not get out damaged by the F7A (the F8 has bigger regen pool and can do more alpha with its guns at a higher sustained damage)

Also A1 has been saying for ages that a fleet of buccys will consistently beat a fleet of F7A’s due to their interceptor tuning

@@jakobsturm656 Everything A1 says only applies to the top 1% of pvp pilots. That list you're talking about has Skill Diamonds and yes the Bucc was S tier but you had to be an "Expert". The F7A was B tier but it was for "Green" skill level which is the majority of pilots in SC.The population can careless what a "rate" fight is, or delta merging. A1s list applies to Arena, not the verse. How oftern do you run into pilots skilled like A1? They spend the majority of their time in Arena or calling out people to OM1 Yela for fights. lol

​@@15jsoliven thats really the problem with PVPers in SC. they're basing everything off of AC and stat data, but the verse is not a tight neat little mode where everything is an ideal situation or configured scenarios to your liking. They treat PVP as a sport rather than a day to day reality of the every man. With the PU being an open world game with no artificial restrictions (just technical ones for now) you're always going to have emergent gameplay and not static gameplay like AC. When you get into a fight you never really know whats gonna happen because anything can happen at a moment's notice. That is whats going to effect pvp. People can call for back up. A cargo ship might just end up being a pirate honey pop and unleash a horde of Furies. Somebody on your side might actually be a double agent or get paid off and betray you at the worst time. People can actually *run away* and lose their tail. You might be setting up an ambush only to get ambushed yourself instead. Star Citizen is not going to be this cut and dry as pvpers make it out to because they only see things from the lense of "this ship can beat that ship in a fight". Thats cool, lets see how your ship handles my self destruct. You would think that with many of these guys being ex EVE players they would understand this.

How much of this is a pure AC/PvP issue?... People flying F7A's in PU are disappointed with how much of a boat it is in atmos, that NPC's will fire a single shot at you and disable your turrets due to the HP glitch, and with how guns are balanced right now, you're either dumping half your gatling ammo into a single enemy above light fighters to do anything to it, or using all lasers and having to recharge every 5 seconds because of the tiny capacitor, due to NPC's just soaking up damage like it's nothing. So is this purely because F7A's are bodying other fighters in AC?... I get wanting it balanced for PvP, but it honestly feels like garbage in PvE right now, compared to the old Hornets. I don't know if that's a symptom of MM, or something else, but as someone who had the old Mega Hornet Ghost loadout and now has an F7A, it feels like ass comparatively. I don't PvP unless I'm pushed into it, but I can't see it feeling any better against people PIP shimmying. We gotta stop with this "OMG NERF THIS" mentality. We've hit a point now where MOST ships feel like ass to fly, fight with, run cargo with, etc... If anything - do what Mike said. Bring every ship up to parity with each other in their class, with subtle differences to make their use-cases matter for their role. Make roles matter. Make roles counter other roles. Make big ships stupid tanky against anything smaller than a similar big ship, or a ship specialized in attacking those ships. Make medium fighters less maneuverable but tougher and more powerful. Make heavy fighters even LESS maneuverable, but even tougher and more powerful. If you just keep nerfing everything, eventually everything feels like garbage, and you just don't want to get in it. If everything feels relevant and has a proper use-case, and you know what you like, then every ship you own should be something you want to fly, on one day or another.

This 100%. It’s the other ships that need to be buffed, both guns and flight agility. The F7A is dominant against light ships, and other light fighters, it is supposed to be. There must be a hierarchy between ships, especially with their intended purpose. When the Buccaneer and Merlins were the pvp king in MM, I didn’t see this much opposition to them. The problem has always been the massive ship and flight model nerf that master modes have brought. I wish streamers would stop focusing on the nerf and instead call for the “buff”. We would all enjoy this game much more.

I think we've already reached the point where all ships fly like ass. The race to the buttom! MM combined with murdering agility and capacitor size on all ships has made me feel like flying a piñata. Encountering ground turrets is instant death in most ships, except the Aurora. Guess they didn't get around to neutering that one yet. We have to be as careful with buffing all ships as with nerfing them. Power creep is a thing, but the current situation has made me stop flying combat missions. They are just frustrating

@@eavdmeer I literally JUST said in another comment how ground turrets feel like they missed the memo. Even after the change in 3.22, you could still take a couple shots before they started doing hull damage. Now it's 2 shots, and you're done. And they WILL hit you, if you're not cruising by in NAV.

@@IrisCorven oh yea! You peek a hilltop to look at the turrets and you're pretty much almost dead. The 3.22 turrets did nothing to me. I would always shoot them all out with my Pisces. Now, only the Aurora can still do that. The Pisces moves like it's flying through jelly. The increased shot speeds of course already made it harder, but the turrets feel like their damage output has doubled

Me and a buddy where bounty hunting and took out a guy in a F7A mk2. I was in an arrow and my buddy was in a scorpius with a third friend in the turret. We had the F7A down in 30 seconds. I took out the rear thruster in the arrow because the guy in the F7A was too focused on my buddies in the Scorpius.

Everyone seems to be forgetting that when computer blades release the Scorpius will have 8x size 3 gun (4 of which has turret size capacitor) for a single pilot. This is intended and planned for, and things have been balanced on their end for the higher tier things. There's a reason why stronger ships cost more in game and out. This wont be nerfed, instead the community needs to shift the max end point on the scale up in their minds.

It's funny so many people are saying it's overpowered now. When it came out there were people saying they wanted their F7C mk-2 back. Avenger one rated it a B I believe. The bug I understand but otherwise it's fine. Before this everyone was upgrading their hornet MK1 with turrets from the military variant. Those hornets had acceleration bugs. Seemed like people enjoyed them rather than losing their mind about it like right now.

This. Which is it? Is it broken, or garbage? They can't make up their minds. And the Hornet Ghost + F7A Turrets was an absolute death machine with the smallest signature out of all the stealth ships. You had 6x weapons, and if they were gatlings? Say goodbye to whatever you pointed it at, because they weren't gonna see your marker until it was too late. I know from my perspective, having come from that Hornet Ghost setup, the F7A feels underwhelming. I don't PvP often, but for PvE it feels like a nerf gun firing at a brick wall, when you shoot at anything larger than a gladius/arrow/buccaneer. Everything has obscene TTK/resistance, so it just feels like a nothing-burger with a pretty profile. And sure, it can soak up damage, but I'm not gonna be shaking in my boots if I see it coming at me when I'm in a Freelancer Max or a Corsair - it takes ages to kill anything.

Yea the outrage all of a sudden over the f7a is wild considering when it came out many said it was worse than the f7c myself included. It almost feels like people ignore the actual numbers and just say it feel op so it is op.

All this sounds like the talk of people who aren't training in Arena Commander. F7A Mk II is just about the only ship people fly, that's a major problem. The Hornet wasn't that good before MM but since everyone is so slow now, you can forget about dodging fire, most fights come down to raw DPS and Trigger Discipline. Avenger always comes from the perspective of a top 1% player, the rest of us live in a different world.

​@forcommenting1017 This right here. Avenger rated it the best ship for players who aren't extremely skilled. If you aren't highly skilled and you're flying with teammates who are uncoordinated, the Mk II is your top pick. That said, I think they just need to ditch the strafing "bug" for now and let the rest get balanced as they figure out the flight model, because MM is a mess in general at the moment.

I think heavy fighters should all be multi-crew and emphasis for bigger fighters should be on range, defence and turret capabilities. Manoeuvrability and acceleration should be the sacrifice. The turrets should provide the cover and destruction sacrificed through manoeuvrability and acceleration. Thats why vanguards should have quad size 3 turrets except Harbinger which should have quad size 4s. Turrets are seriously under-utilised as a balancing factor in this game.

I think the comparison of the 3 ships equating to one Hornet is a bit of a fake out. He's comparing the firepower of a ship one weight class lower and two other ships that are specialist ships that have had their fire power nerfed to compensate. It would be more accurate to say that the military hornet has the fire power of a light fighter + a base raven. Even then the base raven is a stealth ship, which was probably accounted for when designing the fire power it has. The comparison to the hurricane is the best showcase, but even then I think it's better to compare the base F7C instead of the F7A, comparing civilian model to civilian model. That last point is ONLY a consideration IF at some point in the future they allow us to get in game military upgrades to more than just components. If we can militarize our civilian ships in the future to include upgraded hard points, missile racks and capacitors, than I don't think it's a big deal if the military variants are more powerful.

its those 3 ships, spoiler, the F7A can't catch any of them, raven have 2 emp and can power off the F7A (maybe in one go) the firebird got 24x s3 missiles. F7A Straff are bugged since CIG swap pitch/yaw value, it's just a bug.

That rates table showed *all* values being 2-3 times the values of the MK-1 Hornet. That's not just accidentally swapping pitch and yaw rates

No problems with the F7MkII: let the 30 day time line expire, now that everyone and their Grandma got one (for credits) and because of the trap of the "you sell it, you lose the F7A forever", CIG will Nerf the Hornet 2 to the ground making it just a curiosity. We have seen this again and again (F8C, ARES, Sabre...), so why should we trust this time is different? I didn't even bother buying one because I don't buy stuff I cannot melt and I didn't waste time in the F7A quest, because I don't want something that once applied will lock my credits in the store, knowing how something that might be cool today will certainly be irrelevant tomorrow.

Its hard to keep all 140+ flyable ships perfectly balanced while actively making new ones and fundamentally changing the entire flight model all at the same time. Even then, there will always be a meta that is better than everything else. CIG doesn't release hotfixes to rebalance the game like other FPS devs so we have to deal with it a bit longer than what we might be used to.

You are absolutely right, but this is a little ridiculous. A medium fighter having more firepower than a heavy fighter doesn’t make sense. It has the same firepower as a hurricane(a 2 person combat ship) and it has twice the hull hp… A little overpowered is okay, but when you have better stats than other ship categories that focus on the stats you outperform them in, its a problem.

All other combat ships is trash near this one, they will try to rebalance all other or nerf it, but how? Making it slow? its a medium fighter its not supposed to be that slow, right? They cant reduce damage. I have no idea what they are doing, but its just P2W rn

all these ppl saying its fine clearly are missing some things. 1. its not like its a ship that worked for in pu rep or whataver. its bought and available day one of full release. 2. rn it has insanely bugged gs that need fixed. combat in anything else is not viable, AT ALL right now. 3. it has so much dps that it invalidates every other ship. period. in a flight model where you can so easily kite, DPS is king. and its the king of DPS. 3a. its dps is a massive outlier from any ship in its size, and even the f8c, an insanely powerful dps ship in its own right, has less dps. on a lighter, faster, more agile platform. for all the ppl who who dont do combat, this is the only thing ppl are flying in AC. anything else in SQB or FFA gets slaughtered. EVEN WITHOUT the bugged gs, it was overwhelmingly strong. cant wait for yall to try to fight someone using it, a mid pilot will ruin your day, a decent pilot will make your hands ache.

In response to: 1. Wrong, you need to do an in game event to get the upgrade token. 2. Yes its a bug. 3. Speed is still king over dps, dps is secondary. 3a. Have you gone on erkul and strapped them both with omnisky laser cannons? The F8C wins (even funnier about this is the F8C is a CIVILIAN VARIANT compared to the F7A a MILITARY VARIANT) Did you look into any of this before you posted?

​@@Eagle-Eye9977 speed is irrelevant when the ship cannot be hit with the jerk profile of a bucanneer you will hit nothing but air, the 22g of specifically side strafe makes pip deflection so extreme it cannot be hit unless you have similar. Do not read stat sheets and make that your only assertion.

There’s also an issue of stock components having half or less health value than it’s supposed to have. So check components not knowing is probably why your ship dies so easily even when you’re just regular flying. I think Dedleader pointed this out yesterday. Secondly there’s some bug with a ship exceeding 20 g while strafing. And that’s not great to go up against

I think they wanted to make a lot of money quickly, so they released the F7C MK II just before ILW and then they created the questline to make them overpowered so that people would buy the F7C MKII. I think you're exactly right, they will fix it after sales drop.

Fought against 3 people in these, with 4-5 players in a scorpius and other fighters. We died near instantly, could not keep up with their power. Then the pilot even had the gall to say we were lame for missile spamming. Terrible for the future of pvp.

I don't get where he's getting it's tanky from because one size one missile will instantly turn you read and give you torque damage. And if your Shields goes down if you get clipped by any type of laser repeater just once you instantly go red. I mean it has a lot of guns but the capacitor is super low and it's basically a glass Cannon all it really is right now is the old buccaneer. The real problem is the Canon meta because I was in a hornet M2 and a arrow hit me three times with cannons and it was gg where it takes two or three rounds of repeaters the killer arrow

@@vik12D well the crazy thing is I was just playing with Virgil last weekend in AC and the problem wasn't really the hornets for me the problems have always been the big death ball of ships that's not the hornet hitting me with cannons. The hornet takes hits with cannons and it's blinking red instantly not to mention a lot of the laser damages going through the shields still it's actually outrageously weak hullwise but I think that's made to be that way because of the guns but at the same time the guns don't really make a big difference given the new ttk

How many other medium fighters won’t be in the same situation after eating a s1 missile? If the answer is none, then this ship’s maneuverability and firepower give it a dramatic edge over competition to a degree that a newbie could beat a pro pilot and there is no room for skill in SC

@DakkaDakka12 I'm sure they'll fix any bugs, plus when armor comes out, component overheating etc things will balance out. Its Alpha and the Mk2 just came out. I want things balances to their roles and ingame auec/uec to reflect a ships capabilities or lack thereof. I don't want to see the mob scream "OP!" and something get nerfed into oblivion while the other OP things are ignored for years.

​@@01SHADOW You ever fly by a turret on a bunker with it? If it hits you ONCE, the rear wing is gone. If it hits you twice, you're a smear on the dirt. The people complaining about it are Light Fighter/Interceptor mains in PvP/AC. In a PU setting, where you can run into more heavily armed ships? You're just dust, if you can't outrun every shot. And don't even think about trying to put up a fight against anything larger than a medium fighter - you can dump ammo and capacitor into it for a solid 2 minutes before you're even on the cusp of turning anything on the target red. I get that it's bodying light fighters in PvP - Okay. Fix the maneuverability. It should be bodying light fighters if it's hitting them - it's the whole purpose of medium fighters. Tougher, less maneuverable, more firepower. The thing is, it SHOULDN'T be hitting them all the time - it should be lucky shots or being on top of their maneuvers that gets them that hit. The problem is they need to get on-top of these "balance changes" for MM, so Light Fighters are more zippy and Interceptors can properly hit and run. The biggest problem is everything is in too "samey" of a category, regardless of role. Ultimately, 2 light fighters should put a medium fighter on it's back-foot. One light fighter poorly piloted should be an easy kill for a medium fighter, because they shouldn't be capable of training their guns on you long enough to hit you.

They can balance every ship easily with price. A better ship costs more. You have to work your way up to it. That's progressions. Wait, that doesn't work because the game is p2w.

I usually do salvaging to get cash (panel salvaging in my vulture since I don't have a reclaimer) ... so when I spend 15-30 minutes searching for panels (they seriously need to spawn in at faster ship speeds) then salvaging it, finding more to refill the fab then go to my designated sell spot. It seriously pisses me off to get there are be unable to sell my RMC because the economy is busted. So, I've found myself also having to dupe my cargo because I waste my time otherwise, having to camp the terminal waiting for it to refresh just so I can sell for 200k worth of RMC from 1 trip. I hate having to do it, but if I don't, I'm just wasting time ... and yes I've also reported it. So, the only way to get it fixed fast is to abuse it. Unfortunately.

@@brandonstein87 Well, idk how many hours you can play a week, I'm able to play about 4-5h /week. So yes when people are ruining the economy with C2's selling for 2.6mil a run (actually double that with the dupe), kinda feels like a drop in the ocean when I do it for 200k. Yeah, I do agree that it's bad to do it, but when people abusing a system doesn't allow me who usually doesn't abuse bugs, to sell my own legit earned RMC, forcing me on the little time I already have to play to wait, camping at a terminal, yeah, I'll join em. The devs were aware of this for quite a while now, and despite reporting it a few times already and supporting other reports to the council, nothing has changed, no fixes ... worst of all is this wipe was supposed to see how players behaved in the economy. Like, what players did to make money, so it would seem to me as though this issue would be a primary focus for a hotfix ... Thus, yes, abusing it to get it fixed faster seems to be the way to make something happen faster. Unfortunately.

(not a PvP guy) I dont really agree with Virgil here at least not based on his reasoning. It seems hasty to immediately say the F7A needs to get MAJOR nerfs quite yet since it seems like other gunnery changes and systems need to come online as well as the flight Gs "bug" and laser cannon balance to get looked at before its worth getting too bogged down in balancing on a ship to ship level instead of bigger picture. Particularly, laser cannons as a whole weapon type should be part of the conversation of master modes because they seem to be all anybody uses in these clips since they simply ignore the inaccuracy cones added to gatlings and repeaters -- and completely miss the goal of requiring the closing of the distance gap which were stated goals of master modes. I am baffled by the "it's tanky" point though, the f7a gun mounts break super fast against light amounts of ballistic chip damage (bugged/a mistake id hope) and the HP value of the hornets is totally middle of the road. Perhaps this belief is due to the the speed bug making it harder than it is supposed to be to hit, and it therefore FEELS more tanky? If you want to get into numbers of how tanky any fighter is -- here is the hull hp and then the number and size of shields a ships has: * afaik shields are equalized in all stats within size class atm, and one bigger shield is a noticeably better > than two smaller shields (i.e 1xS2 > 2xS) - Light Fighters Hull HP: Arrow 8,600 1xS1, Gladius 7,000 2xS1, Buccaneer 10,000 2xS1, Talon 18,000 (couldn't find shields lol) - Medium Fighters Hull HP: Hornets 21,000 2xS1, Saber 37,000 2xS1, Cutlass Black 1xS2 - Heavy Fighters Hull HP: Scorpius 43,000 with 1xS2, hurricane 10,000 with 1xS2, f8c 46,000 with 2xS2 P.S as a Tarkov player I laughed when this dude alluded that the economy is "balanced" or "well managed" let alone that the devs have any idea what they will do when there is no wipes in that game. He didn't really finish that thought though, so maybe he was going somewhere else.

The bug needs to get fixed. I agree. But I tested 3 AD4Bs and 2 tiger strikes and it’s still average in damage to be honest. If you use laser repeaters, you are of course viable not still in line with medium fighters. The 5 Gatling guns are definitely strong, relatively speaking, but still takes a considerable amount to kill targets and then is out of the fight. It took close 800 x 3 of the AD4B and 950 x 2 of the Tiger strike just to kill a Hull A on a LRT mission. And that was not missing a shot. I literally went right up next to it and the AI stood still as I shot it lol. But nonetheless, yes with ballistics against fighters it will definitely shred but I think the balance in the PU is the fact after a few kills you’re out of ammo

I mean, the F7A SHOULD be awesome, it's the medium fighter that the UEE military uses. We know its rates are not correct currently, and the way he is framing the comparison is just silly. Compounding the problem, the F7A default loadout is 4 Omnisky cannons and 2 revenants which are performing at the meta level. It's a very powerful fighter with the meta loadout straight out of the box. The real problem is that CIG sold the F7A and the F8 in the first place, and I have no idea why they did it other than money. The pip wiggle clowns are still at it too so there is room for improvement there also CIG.

Heavies could have high acceleration in space but with less boost capacity, and put the normal acceleration on a curve that starts high but runs out, making it possible to dogfight but only with FA off?

I couldn't kill anything in the F7C Mk.II. I could have been Dsync as well. Because I was fighting an RSI Aurora MR and it just kept soaking up damage. The new master modes make combat way more fun. I thought I'd hate it but it is far more engaing IMO.

I'd agree if star citizen was a game about slowly working your way up a ladder of ships in your chosen profession, eventually ending up with one of the top dog ships of your choice, one of which was the f7a. But it's not, an f7a is a credit card swipe away, and many people will be starting the game on launch day with them. For buying ships to be anything other than buying power, ships can't be strict upgrades over each other, but simply different styles and preferences

Some guy on reddit told me that a friend of theirs who just got hired by CIG was surprised to find out that noone on their team was actually playing the game. This is why everything becomes unbalanced, the devs are doing a ton of unneccesary trial and error because they dont know what they are doing.

CIG brings in a ship that we were not suppose to have so soon, and specifically a military variant. I'm trying to imagine how you balance a military variant against the non-military variants for balance. My understanding is that the very nature of the F7A being military means it's going to be far superior, but now that it's here we want it to be closer to non-military variants? I was also under the assumption that not everyone was meant to have it, hence time-limited event, the event was supposed to be a challenge (although the events bugs were unfair). Should we also make sure the Idris-M is brought back a couple of notches when it comes out? How much bias is there from players who do not have this ship or prefer a different game loop? I don't play AC anymore, it's been a hot mess for years now with exploits, so I'm not even sure it's a good measure of anything.

The duping and anything related to people exploiting UEC is because we have no economy. There is no economy until all you can buy is craftable. CIG has not even developed rarity, formulas or facilities, for armour, weapons, ships, components, etc. Yet people are worrying about the economy. What exactly do they plan to sell? Cargo... Then what purpose does that cargo have? Main locations use it to make armour, weapons, ships, components, etc. So until we can do industry I don't see what economy they are looking for in SC.

HOPEFULLY lights and maneuverability/position becomes more important than weapons, but the mk2 will still be king of its class the meduims and even heavies. the easiest solution to balance this ship is to nerf its sustain, or the sustain of any ship with soo many guns. with this change, Bugged Gs fixed, and the FM adjustment coming, it will still be OP. but at least its more playable

Virgil is a funny guy. He starts with "I have something to say that other content creators can't because my understanding of the game is so much better"... and then he immediately complains about a 1v1 ac problem and an OP ship that dominates the arena (which was always the case that one ship dominates the arena). And that a fix to that problem will have to wait on "[with disgust in his voice] inventory, cargo, persistent hangars and all that". And then he complains about the lack of economy with the sole focus on how economy should enable pvp and org vs org and how that was "ruined" by duping and its better to shut the entire game down than to continue. This guy has such a tunnel vision.

I do gotta say though, PvPers need to come to a consensus on this. Got a ton of PvP tier lists showing this ship at C or B tier, but if this ship is impossible to kill and can destroy anything by looking at it, shouldn’t it be up in S tier? Is the F7A a powerful ship? Yes. It definitely needs some fine tuning, but it’s not some God Mode ship that can’t be touched even when piloted by a total noob.

Also, this ship is a space superiority fighter. It’s not really supposed to have weaknesses. That is its specialty. Since everyone in this game gets ridiculously horny over the idea of immersion and realism: When the US (and to a lesser extent other major powers) build an air superiority fighter, they build it to be unstoppable. Take the F35 or the NGAD for example, they are ridiculously fast, they have overwhelming payloads, they have extreme stealth technology both against active and passive sensors and even against human senses, they have absurd anti-ground and anti-air and anti-EW capabilities, and one of them is going to have a complementary drone squadron of similar fighters. The ONLY weakness these superiority air frames have is that they are piloted by humans. THAT is the platform something like the F7A Mk 2 is based on. This is how the ship is supposed to fly and behave (though again yes it needs some minor tweaking for sure). If you want to go toe to toe with it, you need a similar generation superiority fighter. I’m sure other manufacturers will come out with one for you all to buy soon too. And once again, even in the game these are mid-high level performers as rated by most PvPers. The only real complaint I can see is that people are mad about is its specialization, and that there aren’t more fighters like this.

Its the A not the (C)ivilian version. People had to put continued effort to get this - same as a raid in other games (albeit some sneaky ptw). It shouldn't be nerfed. It may be close to the F8C in firepower, but when an F8A comes out the distance between them will be relative again. Tbh I think Master Modes sucks full stop and people are off on tangents related to that root issue.

They could fix the agility numbers in under a minute by typing new values in, especially in the .1a patch. The burst damage is far more damage than a Vanguard or Ares Inferno can achieve. Things like this and pip wiggling is why I don't do PvP. It's just annoying to me. The FOMO exploitation by CIG is unreal lately. I refuse to participate in METAs artificially created by companies like this. And I'll get the F8 lightning the way CIG originally intended, after finishing SQ42.

The F7A mk2 is the first military grade ship we get to own... it should be as powerful as a piece of military hardware weapons wise. Not balanced to be equal to everything else. There isn't balance in the real world between civilian and military grade. The movement needs to be fixed, leave the weapons as is...its Military grade and should stand out of the crowd as a force to be reckoned with...even for other previous more powerful ships. Again...military grade i neednt say more.

It isn't a multiplier issue if you divide 22.3 by 2, that is 11.15 and 8.25 that would be a 1.45 boost to both the L(B) and R(B) and 1.15 for L and R between the mk1 and mk2 then multiple both numbers by 2 to get the numbers shown so it was definitely a sales thing

Him talking about how it's equivalent to having this ship on the nose and this ship on the wings etc is nonsense. If you fill an F7A mkII with laser repeaters you might get maybe 20 shots per gun because of the capacitor, with laser cannons maybe 6 shots. All those ships have more than that many shots so you can't compare it that way. It's a better alpha striker? sure but you you can't sustain that amount of dps because the capacitor wont let you.

CIG spent years only working on the single player SQ42, then thought they would just copy everything over to the PU and it would work in multiplayer-- that is completely incorrect! The single player 3D movie game they made, has nothing in it that can be directly copied over to the PU. The PU should have different game mechanics and even a different flight model. In the PU, people are not just flying against weak NPCs to win at the end of a fixed storyline.

To be honest, I dont think the F7A MK-II is all that overpowered. Ya sure the thrust is bugged right now and needs to be fixed, but the capacitor for those weapons is small. I outfitted mine with M6As on the wings and M5As everywhere else and even with 100% power to weapons, you only get 7 shots. And no, it doesn't insta-kill. Even against light fighters I usually have to recharge at least once before they die. Its certainly a powerful ship but its not extremely overpowered. Its a LITTLE overpowered, but it should be. Its the specialty MILITARY edition of a ship that civilians aren't even supposed to have access to according to lore. Now what CIG did was they basically said "Screw lore, we need money" and offered up a ship that was never supposed to be offered. Now as an OG Hornet fan who has always chosen A Hornet for combat over the Gladius and Arrow for the 7 years I have played this game, of course I jumped on the MK-II when it was released and got my F7A. I have wanted the F7A since I began playing and learned of the lore, and I have wanted it more than any Kraken or Idris or whatever else. And here is the thing, you also have to consider other fighters with heavy firepower such as the Buccaneer and F8C and Scorpius. The F7A - because its the MILITARY version while those other options are civilian variants - SHOULD be a better ship than ALL of its direct competitors. That is kind of the point of a MILITARY exclusive ship. Now Master Modes - THAT is the real issue. Master modes turns this game from a space SIM into a space ARCADE game. And when fast fighters can't even do their job and CANT GO FAST, then they become useless compared to larger ships that can out-gun them and they can't even fly away and survive. Master Modes is probably why Im going to be quitting this game at least for now and possibly even selling my account and quitting the game forever. I would rather play Avorion or Elite Dangerous than this absolute GARBAGE that is Master Modes, seriously. Just because some idiots who don't know how to fly in space had some issues with jousting, you had to go and completely destroy the flight model and make it feel even LESS realistic than Star Conflict??? Why??? Master Modes is a fucking joke and until they change it completely or remove it, Im done with this game. Ill play Xenothreat just to use my new F7A for a bit, and then Im just gonna go play other games. Thats all there is to it.

Save for the Tana (that should get 2xs4 later) no ship with 4 or more weapon slots should get s4 guns. why do medium fighters get these huge ass guns? The tana I feel needs it to compensate for its paper centerpoint with it being all glass and cockpit in a dogfight. s3 max for all medium fighters. more than 4 slots should be a spread of s1, 2 and 3. nose turrets being upgunned with removal I'm ok with like on the mk1 hornet, max of s3 still.

the dupe bug might not be as bad for getting data. they just have to do something to the gathered data to filer the duped sales and then refine the data so that the duping doesnt have a lot of impact on the results

@Saltemike I have a honest question for you. You said you are trying to get better at combat and that you like MM. Why didnt you want to get better at combat before MM? Just trying to understand what about MM wanted you to become a better pilot vs before MM. Im not pvper but I considered myself a good-great pilot before MM not top PVP levels but could handle myself in a PVP fight if needed. I've over a 100 hours at it on the ptu before release probably another 100+ since launch. Its not a skill issue I can still solo ERTs In the Lightning and F7mk2. But right now I just dont find the combat changes fun in PVE combat.

Why do people complain about the acceleration model in this game, like they go "20G! obviously thats deadly" but its really not, it displays the g force in all 3 axis, most of that 20G is just forward acceleration, don't compare it to real aircraft cause aircraft mostly just measure vertical G. If you are pulling 22Gs but your ship has 15G of forward acceleration which the body can handle for minutes at a time the maximum vertical G is between 7 and 5 depending in how much laterals Gs are being added. These ships rarely hit over 9G vertical cause no vertical thrusters are that strong. It's confusing but make sense yet?

People should stop buying ships, since every ship will be available in the final product. People are throwing money at CIG just to use these ships "early", when they're all fucked up. A lot of drama would end when folks don't have as much money invested into the game. Matter of fact , so much money is invested by us i wonder, are we paying for the privilege of testing the Alpha , or are we share holders? What i mean is , should we just take what they give and try it out, or do we really have a say in the direction of development?

having helped orginize several dozens of OvOs, played in dozens more over the last 3 years with most PvP communities, no way that CIG doesnt gives 2 fucks about OvOs.

maybe watch the A1 video tier ranking the fighter metas. F7A Mk II is one of the top picks a for mediocre pilot, interceptors like Buc and others are Better for great pilots. this guy is a mediocre pilot wanting balancing for mediocre pilots. only valid complaint is bug, and that will get fixed, this is weak salt, Salt

You watched AV1 fighting space dads as usual. With the bucc. The other day finally saw a fight against another pvp group. And all their buccs got wiped out of the board in a few minutes.

idk looking at stats and testing the F7A MK2 only has the extra dps, CM and shit ton of "bugged" thrust ..... it actually by fact has less hp then older hornets and is less agile in all axis..... but the F7C MK2 is the same as the MK1 movement wise.............. so yes its "bugged" in the thrust and has high dps but its actually worse in every other aspect no argument..... I survive longer in my ghost mk1.... not sorry. I highly suggest everyone to go find out for yourself and I bet when the hype dies out and they nerf it everyone will prefer the mk1 unless they are fighting slower larger vessels

until they fix master modes, im not gonna worry to much about fighters, il get the next power creep. how many years data do we need to determine that their doing it on purpose.
