That's an awesome mounting solution. I made a false wall for mine but it get messy behind the wall. Love all the shelves. Might just have to upgrade after seeing this vid. Thanks.
Wait, Huh, ReefDudes? How does the front face plate/front panel attach to the rest of the box behind it? Is it on like, a hinge and you open the front? Did I miss it?
@reefdudes when you installed the MPs on the unit, how did you slip both cables into the hole? 1 cable is the power (which can be) but the other cable is attached to the dry side of the MP40.
How much work will it be to extract your skimmer or return pump for deep cleaning with everything tucked away so neatly? I did something similar and am dreading pulling it all apart for maint.
I have owned a marineland tank so cant say. I know its made to fit waterbox/redsea not sure on others You would have to measure your space and see if it fits. It is a nice cabinet so could go beside the tank as well if you didnt have space inside.
Something in the middle. I paid/ ordered a custom one for my prior tank which i ended up upgrading to the waterbox when i moved up.. so I got him to send me one of these to use for the new tank instead.
Devin, I have to ask because it is really bugging me. Did your waterbox doors come unlevel? Or was it an installation issue? It is driving me nuts. Lol. Sorry man.
Everything in this hobby is crazy expensive. They have just jumped on the gravey train . It will get to a point where top companies struggle to sell their products and the hobby will suffer
bbbvvhk you can always diy for less. But unless you have routers or CNC machines it will be hard to make it as pretty :). I love diy too but many people would rather just buy something pre made

@@ReefDudes I understand but how are people going to enter this great hobby if they can't afford it. When I see same LEDs lights 5 years without any updates not dropping in price, red flags go up for me.
why does everything reef related have to have inflated prices? Slap a reef sticker on a peice of cardboard and charge 4x as much. This is why this hobby is killing me
