Hi Tim, We have had ours since New Years 2022. It was working great, in the garage, but developed a leak in one of the water fittings. I tried to get a replacement under warranty, but it is on back order. Here is my fix. Looking at the fittings, they are the same thread and size as the water hose fittings. I found some nylon female to female and male to male fittings. Remove the hose clamp on the pump and carefully remove the broken fitting from the pump hose. Screw the male and female connectors together. Grind and cut the six sided part so that it is round and the same diameter as the threads. Use JB Weld to coat the threads so that they are smoothed over and let it dry. Screw the female fitting into the tub fitting and slide the "smoothed over" part into the pump hose. Put the hose clamp back on. Works like a charm. No word on the warrantied part.
but do you run the heat aswell when in it or do you turn it of ? 20-25 minuts was short, i have lazy spa paris and it keeps the heat for well over an hour or more, been sitting inn it all night long sometimes. i rarly use bubbles tho due to the noise :P

Bought mine for black Friday. Every thing seems fine but I'm having a hard time attaching the chlorine housing? The directions dont help. I see that you have some kind of grey attachment on the 2nd (middle) hole of the lining. Wondering if I'm missing a part? Directions show tabs going into the plastic thing with locking lid then somehow attaching to the 2nd hole for the filter where warm water comes out. But for the life of me I can get it attached. Pls advise lol thanks in advance
What's up big Tim! I purchased one of these bad boys after watching your videos on it. I put the cover on and let it heat up. It got to 102 and then I took the cover off (because the chlorine was too high and I wanted it to go down) it won't really go higher than 97degrees with the cover off. Is that normal? I would think it should heat up fine with the cover off as well.
@@bigtim208 Did your PH spike after adding Chlorine to it for the first time? I’m waiting for the chlorine levels to drop (24 hours) but PH was in the normal range then it increased off the charts after adding the chlorine? Alkalinity also dropped. Maybe it’ll be normal range after the 24 hours
@@ericm5515 I have not experienced that. I had my water tested a my local spa store and they made all of the recommendations to me for our water here in Idaho. I would recommend asking a professional for assistance. As a reminder I'm still a first time hot tub owner.
@@bigtim208 Yep, I went to a spa store as well but didn’t get a nice printout like you got. They just used a test strip. Maybe I’m just being impatient. I know baking soda will increase alkalinity so I’ll just wait for the chlorine to do it’s thing.
Question: I just set up my new Hollywood Tub and noticed what appears that the White Cover you blow up with air that fits inside the Brown Top cover seems too small of a diameter to properly fit and seal inside the top of the tub? You would think it would be nearly the same diameter? You experience this situation with yours? Thanks.
It is a little smaller. I dont think the inside blow up is meant to be a seal. I think the inside blow up is just so that if an animal or something is put on top of it it does not damage the cover and just fall into the hot tub. It could also be for kiddos. You could use the cover without the blow up and I think it would retain most if not all of the same amount of heat.
I'm sure energy cost very from area to area and it is a little hard for me to gage because I have many halloween decorations up. My best guess is $30.00 a month.
Question: just hooked up and set my spa to heat up to 102. When the hours wind down and it hits that temp does heater pop on and off to keep temp at your setting or do you need to set more hours on it to run
Picked up a Coleman Saluspa at Rural King in August. We like it. I feel 103° is the ideal temperature. At 104,° I'm sweating. This model did not come with a reflective bubble wrap pad for the bottom. But, it has a pad of some sort, apparently, built into the bottom. I set it on a set of 2x2 foot, half-inch thick, locking foam tiles, on a level wooden 8x8 ft. platform. "WE" haven't decided whether I'm going to insulate it or take it down for the winter, yet. I've got less than $1000 in this project so, I'm satisfied with the results, overall.
I bought mine on Oct 15 2021 and got an E02 error today. Referred to the directions and if no water is blowing out then the pump is broken. I am filling out the online support info now. I hope this goes well. Also the led lights are stuck on the first setting and do not change.
I think you're right about the pump. The impeller shaft is ceramic and tends to break easily, or just wear out. HOPEFULLY, they will send you a whole new pump unit. Keep the broken one for spare parts. You can replace the impeller shaft with a piece of tungsten TIG-welding electrode or good stainless (nonferrous) rod in the future. Best of luck.👍
