In this episode, Mike takes a salvaged, four-panel door and upcycles it into a free-standing Christmas tree with a rustic modern twist. With the creative use of our Festool track saw, he cuts two pie shapes off the rectangular door leaving the core of a 6-foot tall tree.
He then uses some old barn wood to create a frame and ironwood to make a stand. These timeless, maintenance-free, "trees" may be the answer to that old door you've had sitting around for years, knowing it will be perfect for something one day!
