The person on the platform at 4:10 I believe is me as I was out filming the tour that day. Filmed it arriving in Blackpool North, then as it was heading light engine to Farington I filmed it at Kirkham and Wesham & then for the light engine move and return journey I filmed at Salwick.
I’m currently in the Highlands of Scotland and there was what was clearly a former signalbox in someone’s back garden. The name plate clearly said ‘Salwick’ !
No, it was all destroyed in the demolition. There are other videos on here showing the disgraceful waste of re - usable semephore signals and signal box equipment at Salwick, Blackpool North, Kirkham and Wesham. Carelton crossing box and signals probably went the same way.
