Gamestop forming a short-lived partnership with them (GS) probs led them to see their actual books and go 👀 Best thing they could do is buy out bankrupted FTX for cheap and use its technology for their digital marketplace
I remember installing weed farm scale installations a few years ago for guys that wanted to sink everything into crypto mining... for the money they spent they could all just be weed guys now and they would've actually made money. The smart thing to dump money into was right smack in front of their face, but tech was orthodoxy or whatever.
Making actual products? That's for suckers. The modern man should completely abstract away his work from anything real and just trade in ideas and speculation.
after letting tech bros loot the economy for 20 years, having delivered a budget each year for the Bush and Trump Administrations, I've decided to step down (from leadership, not office, gotta keep making those insider trades) - Nancy
China, Europe, America, SA, SEA, Japan, every "advanced" country at least dabbling in the economics of neoliberalism are experiancing consecutive, simultanous crises brought on by an economy that financialized itself for an executive class of moneymen and rent seekers that play with other's money and nothing else. Almost as if these engines that we collectively based our societies on in modernity are fruadulent to the core. America rose because of industry, China rose because of industry. Both are experiancing economic hits despite having drastically different ideological foundations because they began leveraging swaths of their economies away from it. The transition to "financial" and "service" economies is the deathnell of a civilization
Large holders of Capital if left to their own devices. Will literally sacrifice the rest of the world on the alter of the lord god called markets if it makes them an extra penny.
Not if they can just outsource all that ugly misery elsewhere and are let in on the finance gravy train 🚂 🇺🇸 wooo america baby we conquered the world bc we wanted more stuff
Chapo Blue is 11/14/22 Why does it say in the graphic 10/22/18? It doesn't bother me, at first I thought Chapo Trap House did a dive on him before the Pandemic.
@@bermo6066 Do they really? I’ve been listening to their last few podcasts and they just seem to be chatting about nothing for 90 minutes at a time. I still like them and it would be annoying if this Thiel thing was true.
@@TheFlash-rh2el they're at least going to those dinners with Amanda Millius and Curtis Yarvin and Blake Masters in New York. I'd bet they're getting something but if all they're doing is ripping thumb width lines with Sohrab Amari in the Compact magazine loft it's honestly sadder.
