Could the script be configure to voiceover to play 10 sec before end of track playing then NO MATTER WHAT LENGTH overlay 10 sec of of next track playing
There is another RU-vid presenter RODERICK'S SAM ???(search, you'll find him) He sells PAL Scripts for SAM. Some will not work in SAM using FIREBIRD. DB manager. I'm not changing the DB manger in my SAM broadcaster and spend hours wrestling with technology and spinning wheels. Not worth it. Maybe requests to RODERICK for PAL scripts written for Firebird might make folks happy. BTW they're not cheap! Some are FREE, though
MY LINERS ARE LOADING IN THE AUX1 PLAYER BUT THEY NEVER PLAY. THEY EVEN CHANGE AFTER EACH SONG. THE MESSAGE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAL SCRIPT SCREEN SAYS Keep getting "ACCES VIOLATION AT ADDRESS 05A....."
The bad thing about SAM Broadcaster is the crappy support of a generally wonderful product. Problem usually is incompatibility of the PAL script and the DB manager you chose in SAM. Firebird has it's special way to index songs that the computer understands where your music is located, and then there are 2 other choices of DB management MYSQL and another? They have special computer language that instructs the computer where the songs are located on your drive. If the PAL script is looking for instructions of the 'marked song' to play your intro and SAM doesn't get the correct info; THEN the PAL script fails, and you get an encrypted computer message that makes you want to take a sledge hammer to the damned thing. PAL Scripts are really neat,,,,,,,,,IF THEY WORK!! Good luck!! Not goodness when you spend $300 for another piece of software that sorta works.
Hey man, that's pretty poor. You didnt have the sound up so we couldn't hear the result of your tutorial. And you knew it, and couldn't be bothered to fix it. Shame on you.
Hi Ronnie, love your demo's on Sam Broadcaster pal scripts, very informative. However is it possible when you have the time to show us how to Implement a pal script for the end of a song, say 10 sec before the end and maybe six seconds intro to the next song please
