Sam is notoriously private. Perhaps we haven't seen the way he looks at his partners over the years because he doesn't want us to. But there is something special between them. They're they only two people in the world who have gone on the Outlander ride together for years now. What incredible bond!

Why you all think she broke his heart? I didn’t think they were ever in love, just two friends and colleagues who enjoy each other’s company. I think they both had this friendship that in our day and time we call them “besties” the one you can call on when you down and the one you can be silly with without holding anything back. I don’t think neither of them will lie about something that is not true so if they both say they just friends then I think they are. That’s just my take on it but again I don’t know them personally but I think they are sincere about the friendship thing and nobody really got hurt. He was at her wedding and even have been in pictures with her and her husband while they are socializing at public events before Covid 19.

@@SHARMISTHAish lol I am starting to believe there is love between the two that goes beyond friends. At first, I was just going by what they both said in a previous interviews but now I think they said those things to keep people from asking about their true feelings.

It cannot be just acting . Why there was the chemistry test ? Don't you see ? Compare the love between Jamie and Claire and the love between Roger and Brianna. There are no terms of comparison ! I can't look at Bree and Roger but I cannot stop looking at Jamie and Claire. Doesn't that say about " just acting" ?

They love each other just a wee bit more than friends 😉 with working so closely and with so much more work ahead with the series being a couple would be too risky. Lets see what happens in the future!! Love them.

@@TheMalymd He has no choice but to do that to retain his career... especially at present. Obviously kids would hinder him more than her.. not that he disliked them. He IMHO is undoubtedly making up for a not so carefree childhood... his life has not exactly been easy at all.. not even parts of his young adulthood! In some situations needs this time to develop in all areas of his life in whatever circumstances at His pace...as life presents drama and crisis and blessing. He has more to protect than his heart. He is s whole person.

Love these two together, agree that some of the mojo has been lost. Not sure if some of this rift has not been man-made by the studio Starz/Sony for their own reasons? As for the wedding, there has never been a public response directly from Cait to acknowledge it or disavow it? WHY, Ido not know, but, it wouldn’t be the first time that a “studio” has medled in personal business of its contracted actors. Someday there will be an answer, until then I for one think it all conspiracy and will carry on and hope these two talented actors will too...

People who create these videos have watched loads of interviews and behind-the-scenes episodes with Caitriona and Sam, and make their conclusions based on what they see and hear from the actors themselves. No need to be such an ass about it. There are thousands of films featuring love stories, some real life relationships begin on set (it would take a whole day to list all such cases here). But it is rare that actors playing a couple who are not in a relationship are so at ease with each other, know so much about each other, and actually behave like a happily married couple off set (Catriona herself admitted they do). Now, this is not just one 2-hour movie, these people have spent years together making the show, travelling together. The show is very demanding emotionally and physically, there're lots of things going on behind the scenes like athletic training, riding lessons etc, and it's hard to go through so much with another person for so long if there is no genuine chemistry and affection. Whether it is a romantic love or just a close friendship, the affection is there. People enjoy watching these two interact, and there is nothing wrong about it. It warms hearts to think these gorgeous actors genuinely like each other so much. If the way Sam always looks at Caitriona is just for show, well he is a damn good actor and never fails to disappoint. :)

I agree. I know she loves another man and i know he dated lot of beautiful girls but still cannot understand the way he looks at her. Don't say it is acting and their job. It works for 1 season or 2 not 7 years. There is something here and it is NOT acting like people says. It bother me that people think that the way they behave body language ect it is not sincere but acting. I think it is even more disrespectful to think it is not true. Still wanted to understand what we all see before our eyes and how he can date all these women and ahebis married and both never saw their face lightening as they are with each other. I just want to understand. I did tons of research on body language and there is something true here. I just struggle to connect what we see with their real life. Which i of course believe she is happily married and he also have dated beautiful women

Jenny Dyer..... they work together and that does cause friction and more so its best to be very good friends with each then that way you will never be bitter towards each other. And i, for some reason, think she's older than him and may want children, especially if she dosent already have them. And i wonder if he ever thought that he would become the HEART throb for all the women of the world. However im not very familiar with any of these cast actors, but just recently started watching this series. He is handsome and she is a lovely person.

I agree with you. I think they were dating at first season but sam not ready for long term serious relationship. Focusing on his career.her getting older however i though she will get pregnant very soon after marriage as she was almost 40 years old so people says she went for tony because she wanted children. She still does not have and hope she can because she looks to love children. Hope she will be happy
