PinkLaffs I am the Sam Cooke of my generation Rising Chicago Artist please give me a listen 🙏🏿🎥🔥👣 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aUbms9FwCxU.html
Sam's killers were watching this show and learning of his personal goals is one reason why Sam's not here. But, Sam will 4Ever be in my heart! I love you Sam!!!
@@DemarioDon If you say you are the new Sam Cooke, you turn everyone off from wanting to hear anything you have to show them. There is only one Sam Cooke. If everyone hears what you have and they say it, then it is what is, but it's not for you to say.
Everybody that's called or has been called a soul singer owes something to this man , took that southern baptist church sound to the mainstream and made it work , owned his publishing and label , prolific songwriter , created a new genre of music altogether. RIP the King Sam Cooke.
Nat turner21 his music Lives'on. One of the greatest singer song writers of all time. His music and songs are timeless. Thank god for RU-vid. When I need to listen to good music this is where I come. RU-vid.
Everyone back then seemed so intelligent and spoke so formal. It’s sad that nowadays it’s rare to see young people speak with such mannerisms of the old era.
To me being so kind and intelligent is very cool but the world today would say you're strange and a weirdo guy for being polite and kind. Ain't that crazy??? If you don't start a interview with "yooooo whats up people its your boy Sam" you're not in today.
Without doubt Sam Cooke is a transcendental artist,he broke barriers down ,without protest or violence, there are no words to articulate how I feel about his music, and a unit of measure hasn’t been invented yet that could quantify my respect for the first true soulful singer, unequalled by anybody since, and I know that in 50 years time my son will expose his son to his beautiful music, sam will go on and on long after my time has passed, without his influence as the beach boys once sang “ god only knows “where we would be without him.
What a wonderful man and singer. I feel for Sam Cooke. I can't imagine anyone hurting him. He seemed so full of light. A real talent and treasure that sang like an angel. In these times of anxiety and stress it is such an enormous comfort to listen to Sam's music. I hope Sam is at peace singing with a most beautiful choir of angels above.🌹
" I think the secret is really observeration...if you observe what's going on and try to figure out (how) how people are thinking and determine the (the the) times of your day i think you can always write something that people will understand. "
"What's the greatest thing that could ever happen to you?" .."Um If All the singers that I'm connected with had hits" Man Oh Man. He never got to see Aretha Franklin become "Aretha". He would have been in awe.
@@DemarioDon Damn, where do you get the audacity to even dare compare yourself to The Cooke. The fact you need to advertise on youtube comments is enough evidence you'll probably never achieve your dream. Skill is required not this shameless bullshit you're partaking in.
Jack Sparrow wow 😳 why so much hate brother ? I don’t k you from a can of paint but hey that’s life Sam Cooke will forever be an idol I want to be like blessings to you brother
I was just 10 when he was killed, but,I remember hearing it on the radio. My mom and I cried. You didnt have to be black to be hurt by his loss. That didnt matter. So much was lost with his death. Dick Clark was awesome too. He had gotten bomb threats if Sam went on his show. They were going to blow up the studio. What did Dick do? He called the National Guard for protection, and the show went on with Sam singing,as scheduled.
Possibly true but there are many unanswered questions about his death or murder. The Sam Cooke lying in state looks pretty beat up to have just been shot and hit by a woman with a broom handle.
Sam Cooke, The first Black man to own his own record label. He set the scene for others to come. What a HERO!!! No one could ever deny his talemt. He started off in church. Thats where most us start. Throughout the years some will always remain in the building whilst others have to move and love to create another movement in another church. In this erea, technology has advanced that some have the opportunity to view online. What a privilege!.
What a beautiful , fine, handsome, sexy, and talented man. Rest in pease. It would have been forty nine years since this special man has been departed from us tomorrow. Seems such a long time. I pray he is with Jesus.
Gaaah he was so nice! I would have loved to have gotten to talk to him. He seemed like such a polite and caring individual. People like that are few and far between.
At this point he didn’t know “change gone come” is going to be a historic hit.. he didn’t know what his friend Mr. Clay who later would become Mohammad Ali would become a historical figure.. he missed out on so much man
He really seems like a wholesome person! Very down to earth, with a great sense of humor. It's to bad he left us so soon. But thankful he left us with some great songs that everybody knows the words too! Thank You Sam!!!
Yes, and Sam wrote so many songs in just 6 years with most of them hits. What artist today can write that many songs in 6 years plus multiple hits. Sam was the Man!!!
Sam Cooke looked like he was a fun person to be around great energy it’s such a shame how he went out in the end beaten with a broom stick & shot like that smh we lost a such a wonderful talent RIP Sam!
My family and I LOVE Sam! He was a pure gift to music, that is clear but he was a man before his time. His advocacy for civil rights and equality are incredibly overlooked because of his enormous talent. He was such a vibe in his own right, but his drive to make his voice heard and shared with other civil rights activists is equally as legendary. If you haven’t seen “THE TWO KILLINGS OF SAM COOKE” on Netflix, I highly recommend it. The loss of such extraordinary people because of racism, and silencing those with voices and platforms all in the evil of oppression is devastating. To see where we are today and to know that after insurmountable sacrifice, that the right wing has chosen the hill of racism and hatred is baffling. It’s embarrassing to see this country come completely undone. To see the audacity of being so comfortable to say and behave in the most disgusting ways is something we all should care about and not stay silent in. We need to keep being ally’s, hold strong to the values of respecting all races, religions, genders, ethnicities, and communities! Don’t let these incredible people’s deaths be forgotten or overlooked. Don’t let it be in vain, we’ve got to really show up, human being for human being! Because this isn’t going to fix itself. We all have to change this. People deserve their born rights to this earth. We all deserve dignity, equity and equality, and love (universal healthcare and livable wages too) but… there are good people out there, they just need to remember that silence is complicit or indifferent neither of which will make progress ♥️ My respect & love forever to Mr. Sam Cooke
@@sheiladavis6523 and Elvis and Bob Marley too. but just imagine Sam singing with Michael Jackson or Stevie Wonder. All these great things could have really happened.
I love you Sam! You are so Gorgeous and I believe your killers were watching this show and learning of your powerful goals. They didn't like these goals of yours because this would make you a powerful Black man during your time and future times.
That's true and I cried much over Sam when I was born 1month and 7 days after Sam was killed. I'm still crying over him because I have come to know him so much through research, videos, and his music. He was gorgeous and musically talented. I wish he was here today so I may kiss him and tell him myself. Oh well, I'll just do that to my pillow right now.
The KKK had blown up a synagogue and had warned Dick Clarke that if Sam Cooke appear on his show they would blow up the studio. Sam Cooke and Dick Clarke were very brave men. At the time the KKK and the National Guard were outside the studio.
