In this country that is open to any citizen because that is what a democracy is. Instead he prefers to think he knows all the answers, and calls in with a wholly inappropriate aggressive, bullying attitude which does nothing to help anybody.

@@mikeradu2010 Not quite. I think they know Gyimah's weaknesses during his time in the party. In any case, I acknowledged that he was an embarrassment. So far the conservatives have not given the country any reason for cheer. Boris is bungling big time - first Huawei, then HS2, now COVID 19.

@Dee Jay First of all, I did not vote to remain. Where you got that idea from is beyond me. However, unlike you, I remain objective and do not think that I have to agree with everything the conservatives say. They must be held to account even though I voted conservative since the other options were uninspiring. I have lent them my vote and they must deliver results and must definitely conduct themselves ethically.

Indeed, but more than any other party the conservatives have reneged on theirs. They went back or didn't meet any of their 2015 pledges, pretty much the same for their 2017 ones and boxed the Libdems in on tuition fees as the smaller party in coalition to drop the tuition fees knowing that they would take the fall and not the Cons, that's worked put nicely. I dont like the Libdems now, they're far from the days of Paddy Ashdown and co, but the Tories are pulling down the whole facade and taking everyone with them yet ensuring they are just that one step ahead now matter how low they go. @Una Discamus So funny you say that because Aaron Russo who was friends with Nick Rockefeller of the Standard Oil dynasty said in an interview he'd had it revealed to him that the Rockefeller foundation funded feminism for two purposes 1. Because before they could only tax half the population (the men) and 2. So they can get kids into school at an early age to indoctrinate them how to think and see the state as their authority, not the parents. Hi, you are all so right. State indoctrination is the base of a lot of schools. Parents might and sometimes do, complain about certain items within the curriculum, but big brother always thinks it knows best. As you say, nothing is free. Someone, somewhere has to pay the bill. Not everyone wants kids but the country NEEDS kids. Not just any kids. We need well educated, happy children so that they can fill the jobs of the future. We need to bring up the doctors, teachers etc of the future. Who is going to pay the tax that looks after us in our old age? I personally think that we need to encourage parents to stay at home during the child's early years as the care provided by parents is generally better for the child's development, happiness and well-being.

Why do none of the parties promote the family, perhaps using the money they want to give to childcare providers to help a parent stay at home, at least until their child starts school? We are in danger of creating a whole generation of children who know their nursery school carers better than they know their own parents.

If I were giving the benefit of any intelligence at all, might I suggest that's a way of them identifying that what they are saying flows as an amplification of the logic of your(the questioner's) question; as such, it has to be correct. However, and much more likely, In the absence of intelligence, it just falls in the same category of txt speak, lol, etc,etc - intellectual laziness.

The "remainer bonus" come from FDI (foreign direct investment), and example being Japanese car plans in the North of England. If there is a WTO brexit the Japanese will move their operations to the EU. Many companies will relocate and there is nothing secret about any of this !!
