Sam Heughan is always so gracious. He does a lot of interviews and always does them with a smile. I couldn’t imagine answering so many questions and often answering the same questions over and over again.
Sam's performance at the end of S1 was shocking, disturbing, utterly agonising. Yes, Catriona's scenes were horrific but no less so than Sam's. If anything, Sam's were so violent and unorthodox, that his performance deserves true recognition for art and craftsmanship that few have approached. As a fan, Sam has unlimited potential, in his acting career, if he is invested in the character he plays. He isn't a Van Damme. He's a Colin Firth, Matthew Macfadyen, or Ralph Fiennes.
Nice interview. He has acting talent and we are all used to playing Jamie in this series from the very beginning. It's nice if they recorded all the seasons until the end of the book with this actor.
