He also gets in bed with (naked chested), eye gazes with and kisses a man in the last of us series. And he ain’t even the star, he chose that as a cameo.
He's voting for Trump, and Nick will say he totally understands and respects his decision. Then its back to the carport to patiently wait until the big lad has had his fun in Offerman's wedding bed.
My mom runs a pioneer museum, and she has a wooden chair in there that's over 100 years old that has no nails. They carved everything to interlock perfectly, and it's still around today, its bananas.
People obsessed with masculinity are annoying. Every little decision they ask if it's masculine before making. I saw one dude recently make a video saying blocking women is feminine cause you're showing you care enough to block her. Like bruh, if she's annoying me I'm gonna block her.
What's more feminine: blocking her and moving on to something that's actually worth your time, or putting up with her because you feel blocking would negatively impact perception of you?
I was reading some old GK Chesterton stuff and one thing is said is something like "you only think about your health when it's declining". If it wasn't already obvious then this gayass mistrel show masculinity is a clear sign that men are a seriously endagered species
Way too many people praised that show when it was just the story of the game but executed worse in every way. People’s standards for media has dropped dramatically and everyone suffers for it.
They're both a mock of masculinity. It's just a big inside joke for assholes. Walz is the doofus harmless white guy, and Emhoff is the male wife of a power-hungry mediocrity.
Well Ron Swanson is a cheesy kind of parody of the kind of guy he portrays to be, ironically. His character gets excited about a "Meat Tornado" and I'm sure the male viewers actually try to connect with him over that kind of gay shit "holy shit he's eating so much meat he's such a man"
Nick Offermann is such a bizarre person. He got famous playing a libertarian. Sure it’s a character but a lot of people (including past/younger me) use Ron Swanson as an example of good conservatism. Nick even leaned into it with his woodworking business and that stand up comedy special he did. I remember thinking “Ron Swanson is like this in real life, how cool”. Turns out he’s a clown and so is his wife. He has done so many “conspiracy theorist/crazy republican” type roles where the goal is obviously making fun of said people + spread basic surface level liberal propaganda.
I thought everyone knew that he was a gay actor.. I mean he’s an.. actor. Like the guys in Sopranos weren’t actually tough guys they were just gay actors
He worked for nbc, why would you think he isn’t a gay Hollywood liberal? At the same time, conspiracies and misinformation come from both sides. He just happens to a puppet for one side.
The guy who played Silvio is an IRL major libtard qho pays for Bruce springsteen's E street band but some of the other guys were connected IRL, paulie gaultieri being the best example.
I mean, he is a good actor. That's why his right leaning libertarian character on Parks is so believable, Nick Offerman is a good actor. So him faking being a normal dude convincingly is not different than Kevin Spacey playing a straight guy his entire career.
i remember being in my construction shop class and being proud of my work then i had the realization that theres an old Japanese man making absurd joinery with chisels and a wooden mallet
Well he started off the same way. Don’t use others accomplishments to judge yourself. As long as you reach personal goals and continue to improve whatever you’re doing then you’re doing alright. Of course set true achievements and attaining real skills for your goals.
Japanese joinery is complex because they didn't have much iron on their island originally so they saved material but making complex wooden locking grooves
@@oliver4693 exactly, so much of these cultural things aren't because of some complex mind it's just because they may do with what they had. The reason why they do sushi and very small cut up food is because it's hard to get firewood on the island also.
I am currently renting out an aunts condo and it has a resin table which is just a black plastic chunk with a bead in it in the middle. God bless her. I love her, but I am going to offer to do crafting/carpentry projects for her moving forward
Offerman's voice for Beef Tobin on The Great North is his manly lumberjack style character living as a single father of a feminist daughter and two soyboys, and they regularly bring up how he was a niceguy cuck while his wife was a "joke" version of a whore. Offerman IRL is a weird beta, its all to take the piss out of masculinity. It started with Ron Swanson.
live edge is meant for large slabs of wood and it conserves the eidth of the board cause on these big trees you can have 4 extra inches on each side, you gotta go to like the skiing lodges on mount hood or great wolf lodge to really understand hte aesthetic its trying to bring
@@DIT545 yeah but you know what if you don't do it right it just looks like a poor cracker. Like when I was younger I love the idea of Live Edge siding, but so many times I'll see someone's camp that was done with Live Edge and it just looks like they were too poor to afford siding
The thing with woodworking is, all you need is someone who knows what they're doing to show you what to do. And just do it a few times until you can remember and understand it. The rest is just being careful and consistent and having the right tools. Diligence and attention to detail. The skill is based on repetition and experience, not inherent artistic skill. It's not SCULPTURE
I like the zombie show he was in, it's super woke but i haven't watched anything in years. I was nice to have something new to watch. Buying physical media once every six months until my last day is my new hobbey.
I wanted to make a live-edge table once. Why? Because all you need to do to make it look good is buy a slab, plane it, drill some legs into the bottom, stain and resin the top. Done. Is that artisanship? Nah, it's a craft I could complete in couple days of spare time. Then I didn't... because it doesn't look good.
Using a fake sitcom character and woodworking to represent your political ideology is sillybilly. “Everyone is gay and annoying, but not me while I sit here complaining about wood tables for 30 minutes”
Don’t. These guys have buttery soft hands, couldn’t build or repair something if their lives depended on it. They’re entertaining and good to listen to while other guys are actually working.
I mean, even watching Parks and Rec, Ron Swanson actually sucks and really longhoused. He’s either a simp slave to Tammy 2, or a goody-goody slave to Tammy 1. Don’t get me started on how he lets his wife and step-daughters at the end of the show walk all over him. Such a psyop.
If there is any Republican curiosity or groups of Republicans endorsing Kamala we wouldn't stop hearing about it in the news. So I think that is a lie.
wooow.... i mean faking woodworking is one thing... but writing a song for this "non nominated for president person" wowowoow the leftist juice if overflowing on this one
reality is starting to get insanely goofy and 'meta meta' Offerman is known for his Irony... is he being Ironic? Just asking questions. That seemed way too goofy to be serious. but i am done giving anyone the benefit of Doubt too. It's all a bit much , bros.
