George Lucas is the definition of someone falling upwards. All the best lines were improv, the great effects were all from budget constraints (the second he had a bigger budget he ruined it all with terrible cgi), he doesn’t know how to write interesting powers so he leaves it so vague he doesn’t have to deal with it but it became iconic because it left the imagination open.

most people like the prequels now though. I don’t think he fell upwards because Indiana jones was also good, American Graffitti was good. George isn’t the best writer ever but he’s a competent filmmaker and worldbuilder. Lucas arts was churning out amazing games in the 90s as well.

jesus, nicks whole pop culture reference pool is late 00's snl i dont know if its a good thing necessarily that sam has learned to perform alternate physical mannerisms in place of authentic laughter in response to nick's nothing bits. it just makes them go on forever and lose steam way too late

@@MonsieurBig Why would that be gay? Because I don’t want to hear Nick attempt some stand up comedy comedy bit every time the topic of discussion gets any deeper than the tip? Notice how every time Sam tries to get deep into it, Nick just laughs and turns it into a big joke and Sam never gets the relief of finishing what he started? I miss when Sam was doing it with Jet or Chris Lynch because they never interrupted and let Sam go on and on. The only thing more enjoyable to watch is when Sam, Charles and Nick are all together. Charles can keep up with Sams energy and cunning to the point of exhaustion so when Nick joins it is always a nice change of beat. It’s no wonder that the only people who still think this show is funny are people like yourself, who only know how to call others gay on the internet.

Shane is pushing 40 and still cosplays as a notre dame frat bro, the only funny things he says are because he’s doing a cheap mirror of the McCusker bros’ personalities. That's what George Lucas has consistently said they were supposed to be. Unfortunately, movies are a worse medium than video games, which is why Helldivers 2 was able to provide better Space Viet Cong (in the form of store-brand Terminators) and Five Nights at Freddy's was able to provide better creepy-looking killer teddy bears (with even more cash-grab sequels than Star Wars).
