Sam Kinison Monologue - Saturday Night Live 

I love how he just shreds on guitar, and doesn’t say a word about it. How humble is that?

I had no idea sam could play guitar so well. Thought he was doing an incredible job of faking it for the first five seconds, then realized nobody can fake it that good.

He was hands down one of the coolest people on earth!

I'm 56 years old and grew up on Air Force bases and saw dozens of air shows, on the flightline, and I've also been to dozens of hard rock and metal concerts, up close and on the floor in front of the amps, so believe me, I know from deafeningly loud noise. I shit you not, the loudest most piercing and painful noise(in a good way) I've ever heard to this day was seeing Sam at the Paramount Theater in Seattle, Summer of 1987. When he screamed you could feel your bones and brains rattle.

Sam Kinison how refreshingly honest and meek he was. I didn’t know he played guitar, I enjoyed his playing. He is missed.

That was and still is the best rendition of SNL's theme EVER!! You can see and feel how much energy and feeling everyone had. (Even the drummer in the background.)

God, I miss him. He was so beyond talented.

Sam had so much talent, music, acting, comedy, we lost him to some teenage drunk--incredible tragedy

And then you think of some crappy SNL hosts who can't even shred on guitar like this, RIP SAM

Yo, why is this monologue not on the episode on Peacock. It's crazy to me what gets left off those episodes. The whole point of that platform should be to present these shows as uncut as possible

Saw Sam twice with my best friend Mark. It was wild intense and unforgettable. There will never another like him. Gone way too soon.

I almost got to meet him. I knew his friend Carl LaBove around the time he died. His death death really effected me because it seemed like he was turning things around and then dumb luck took him out. SAD!

Such a great talent that was taken way too soon! I can't begin to imagine what he'd be saying about everything that has happened in the country and the world over the last 30-plus years. And I had no idea he was such an excellent guitarist!
