Yknow there is a show called Lucifer, yea? And dude is not only more sympathetic, but charming af. The original character design concept for the DC Lucifer was based primarily on David Bowie. The creator told the art team to draw him Bowie. If they drew anything else, just throw it away until they draw Bowie. Even casting Tom Ellis, it was under the idea that they wanted to step away from the Bowie portrayal as much as possible as to not have fans draw the conclusion that whoever they got wasn't good enough to be Bowie, and they ended up with the talented Tom Ellis anyway. The show is great. Season 3 is a bit meh, but 1, 2 and 4 are great. Especially 4 after Netflix saved the show. Not only did they save the show but they brought out arguably the best season, if not one of the top two. Plus the portrayal of Lucifer is an interesting take in and of itself. Still has daddy issues, but it shows that he is capable of redemption and change as well as justifies how he is necessary, not evil. That Hell is a place for people to punish themselves, another cool mini concept. If you don't like the whole "loner/cast out cop works with not cop to solve crimes" procedural shows... Then it may be slow at parts. But unlike the other shows like that, they do a good job at keeping a balance between all the story lines. After a while, the cop drama thing kinda takes a back seat to the rest of the plot, which is good. Idk, if you (anyone) hasn't seen Lucifer and liken SPN, I'd recommend the watch.

No cause Michael and Lucifer are locked in Lucifer's cage together in Hell, and as far as I can tell what happens in Heaven does not affect what happens in Hell. Now if Lucifer and Michael were in Heaven they would probably be freed. Which means so far the only way to free them is by using the 4 Horseman's rings to re-open the cage.

As far as I know god locked lucifer in the cage in hell after he was cast down from heaven so I'm guessing that metatron does not have the knowledge or power to free them yet, also I'm guessing even if he did he probably doesn't want to do that anyways considering how pissed michael and lucifer would be after they saw what he did to the angels that were in heaven. However it would be really awesome to see what they would do if they were free 8D

I love how Lucifer helped Sam and made Sam actually talk and listen to him taking his advice on the case but later on in doing so it would mean Lucifer was actually real and that means he could control Sam even more. Honestly loved this episode. Lucifer is so smart and conniving!!

Mark is the best Lucifer hands down. You know Satan is manipulative, funny, gorgeous, hot, trouble and etc. etc. And Mark plays his role perfectly. He can be a very cool guy you can't help but like but at the same time in your heart you know he's the most brutal and ruthless bastard of all time. He can do a complete 180 without any prior warning but at the same time keep his cool but scary demeanor. That's how Satan should be.

This Lucifer is actually a hallucination--all in Sam's head. But the real Lucifer was so nice to Sam because Sam was made especially for Lucifer, and he genuinely wanted to connect with Sam. He saw Sam as the only thing he had in the world.

A lot of people are saying that the only reason Lucifer was happy when Sam told him to _"shut up"_ was because he finally let him in. Honestly I don't think that's true. If that was the case then Sam would've let Lucifer in a long time ago when he freaked out in episode 2, (the scene where Dean had to show him how to tell the difference between what's real and what's not.) I believe Lucifer was happy here because he was finally beginning to get to Sam. I think he let him in the moment he began talking about the case with him.

Lucifer from last 3 seasons is similar to Sam’s Hallucinations. He wasn’t like old lucifer from S5 so series and scary. He was funny and a little ‏ridiculous. Which I don’t fully hate BTW .it was acceptable to a certain level. But they really changed his character

So do I, but I think they both play lucifer really well and in different ways; Mark had to play the Lucifer fresh out of the cage, the angsty almost teenager; Jared had to play Lucifer five years down the line.Lucifer may also be a woman. You can kind of tell though some of Mark's mannerisms, definitely the way Jared captured a lot of that passive anger that's associated with femininity and the fact that both times Lucifer got people to say yes to him, he came in female forms, not male.

Mark Pellegreno. Damn he really adds a lot of humor to this series. I don't think anyone in this series will ever play Lucifer quite as well as he did (Well, Misha Collins did pretty well as Lucifer too so it's hard to compare). But before anyone says it, I'm not comparing him to the Tom Ellis. Tom Ellis's Lucifer is a completely different series (though just as awesome as Mark Pellegreno in different ways).
