At first I had no idea what it could possibly be foreshadowing, but as it turns out, they were referring to the final episode of the devil's play house (which, for those who don't know, is the third season of the Sam & Max games.)

I’ve been enjoying these games a lot so please people in the comments stop complaining about censorship. The fact that they removed a joke that implies all people with special needs are like children is something I’m grateful for because i don’t like the idea of people thinking we’re all like that. Censorship is necessary sometimes, plus the games are still fun so shut your Yao and play the original if you don’t like it but stop complaining everywhere. Thank you
I liked the original better. Even though they said they weren't gonna replace any lines of dialogue at all in the remaster, they still did it anyway. A lot the more offensive kind of joke dialogue got replaced. Not too mention they changed the voice actor for bosco even though they already had the voice lines pre recorded for the game since it was supposed to be a remaster. Makes me angry when a gaming company just straight up blatantly lies to their fanbase.
Actually more or less than half of this stuff reminded me why i got out of the fandom a few years ago. The games are really racists and sexist. What were the writers thinking... I like the characters but... Its stuff like this that messes up the series..
