Who else thought they got suckered into watching an Amy Schumer standup?

I’ve seen this special a bunch of times but this time 2 things come to mind: - Sam’s voice is 100% perfect for his style - that being good at breathing underwater line was super-underrated!!

This special is crazy underrated! Joke after joke and they all hit!

His joke writing is refined as hell. If this is his first special, I mean, hats off.

"I can clearly see that you're a woman now because you're mad at me and I have no idea why." Best line in the whole show.🤣🤣🤣

I checked one of those inmate date sites and found a woman who is in for attempted first degree murder and "full of surprises" according to her profile. Incredible stuff

Sam has more jokes in 10 seconds than most guys in 10 mins. Brilliant comedy. 👏👏👏

Very funny! Very funny! The bit about girlfriends wanting to change a man reminds me of my husband’s best friend. When we started dating, my now husband told me he had standing plans with his friend to go to a bar for “wing night,” every Monday. Ok.🤷🏻‍♀️ Then a few weeks into our dating relationship, he asked me out on a Monday night. I said, “what about wing night?” He told me, “I would rather spend time with you than eat hot wings in a smokey bar with my friend.” (His mom and aunt and two uncles had all died of smoking related illness within 18 months of each other…his mom had passed away only a little over a year prior.) So, I asked him what his friend said about him not going to wing night? He started laughing. He said, “that’s how it starts.” That is when I gave him the talk: “If you decide to spend time with me instead of your friends, you need to make it clear that it is completely your idea. You are a grown ass man, I will not tell you how to run your life, and I don’t find it cute for people to think I am dictating where you can and can not go at any given time.” Then I asked him if he thought it was sad that his friend had some sort of recollection of when his wife first started dictating his life to him? We joke about “that’s how it starts,” all the time. His poor friend. We have been married for 14 years and, as adults, we are free to decide what we will do independently of each other, because we are still grown ass adults.

Bit late, but I really enjoy how you're taking basic jokes or topics that have been covered a million times and still find the right spin to make it fresh. Also some really creative new jokes in between, just a great mix. I'd love to see you if I'm ever in the U.S. :)

Not even 5 minutes in and the baby wearing the "I love life" "he would grow out of it" had me laughing...then it hit me again a few seconds later like "ohhhhhh I see what you did!" This dude is a genius.

This was a decent early special for him. His material and delivery keeps getting sharper. “I Got This” is still a masterpiece! 🙌 ❤️

This dude is too good. He's doing very well for himself but in my opinion he's so unique and intelligent that no one quite knows what to do with them to blow him up because he's probably the smartest guy in the room half the time and he's also the funniest. I know, I got to get off his jock but he just seems definitely A Cut Above almost the entirety of stand-up comics other than top 10 current Legends. Anyway, this dude is on his way

Lots of depth here, loved it. The audience were a bunch of dead fish, but Sam seemed unphased. Total pro and I will look for more of his videos. And one more thing- nice to see the topic of Atheism come up. As an Atheist myself, I am glad to see others that are not scared to bring it up in a room that is probably full of theists. Bravo.
