my moving tip - 26 moves in all - use clear garbage bags for soft stuff, cushions, towels, clothes, tupperware etc and hire teenagers to haul the heavy stuff - their backs are better than us older people. Have fun and what a joy.

Our lives are parallel! :) Last summer we also sold our longtime home and moved to a new community where we are currently renting. Four years ago we moved from Connecticut to Georgia. I was 63 and never lived anywhere else. I won’t lie it was hard leaving almost everything I knew behind. I’m very lucky that my daughter and 5 grandchildren came too so it made life a bit easier. We bought a house with an in-law apt. Almost 17 acres and I believe we made the right decision. Congratulations on the move! A tip I learned with our last move was to assign each room a color and tape a square of construction paper to the boxes and to the door or wall of the new place. It made it so easy for the movers to unload all the boxes to their corresponding color room.

Please keep your mask on. If someone walked through that aisle 5 minutes ago and coughed a bunch, the germs are in the air. Plus, if you pull down your mask NEVER touch it in the front, like NEVER! This is where most of the germs collect. If you want to take off your mask, pull it down by the strings that hold it up around your ears and avoid touching the stuff that covered your face! Stay safe 💕

My hubby bought me the Ninja air fryer pressure cooker for Christmas last year and amazing! Love it!

I always used the insulated lunch "purse" as a diaper bag. Easy to clean, store snacks, keep milk cold if needed, etc.

If I could suggest for Derek on the wings in the air fryer...put the wings in boiling water for 10 min and then take out dab with paper towel, season up how you like and then air fry. Oh my, we love them so much.

Get the freezer. We got one about a month ago and we love it! It was so hard to find because they were always sold out. So grab one when you can.

I have a freezer that size and I think it works okay for a small family. The shelves fill up quickly. I’m a household of two. The best part is that you can see easily what you have and you don’t have to do a lot of bending over.

Please do lots of videos as you’re packing and decluttering and moving. I absolutely love those videos! Congratulations do you guys for your prayers being answered and God providing your way.❤️

*This is moving month for both of my kids also. One is moving to the East Coast of FL, and one to the West. We are literally running in different directions. My son is almost done, and daughter we move next weekend out of one apartment, then into a new one on the first. She also just landed her first teaching job with her own classroom, and we are helping her move and set up for that also. *Chris and I are escaping to our off grid property with the dogs to celebrate July 4th, which is fun because our entire camper is patriotic themed. *It is so wonderful, you can stay with your in-laws!! What a blessing, and a wonderful bonding experience. * English muffins are best toasted extra crispy, with cream cheese, apple butter, and bacon. Yummm!! *Happy Birthday Derick!! You share a birthday with my Uncle Skip. Two pretty awesome men.

My husband and 5 and 8 year old moved to FLORIDA 4 years ago. We have no family here so were used to spending holidays alone now( I'm 45 and have always in past had all fam around) this is what we do since it's just us 4 alot....we make new traditions and my husband and I no matter the holiday will stay up late and decorate (streamers are cheap and make big impact) this year we for the 4th we made a banner as a fam and got some new things. we will do a field day in yard/pool/grill/rocket foam toy and light up gloves from Amazon. (It will prob rain so half of this probably lol)To fill gaps we like to do art as a family. This is becoming a favorite as we all are creative..for those spending holidays alone first time my heart goes out to you. Our first time I tried to enjoy the peace and calmness to it. Also that we as a family could eat and do anything the way we wanted(I'm a vegetarian so we dont have Turkey for Thanksgiving type thing)..however I do miss alot fam. I can say as a family have a grown a thicker bond and we appreciate each...I bet yours will too. It's been a blessing in disguise. have great safe healthy holidays. Blessings to all❤🙏

We have the thomson upright freezer from Sam's. Brought it last year in December. I keep it packed and it's amazing. And it can hold so much even though it looks small.

Hot dogs and bratwurst in the air fryer is so yummy!! Sometimes it just gets too hot here in Texas to worry about the grill so we use our air fryer for those. So good.

We LOVE our air fryer! We live about 15 mins from fast food restaurants. So we throw our fries in the air fryer when we get home, usually about 4 mins, and they are perfect! Just like dinning I’m at the restaurant!!!! McDonald’s, Wendy’s, and Burger King are the places we’ve tried with the fries...so yummy!!!

Moving is exciting and exhausting all at the same time. Our last 2 moves were for my husband's job so we were provided movers. I'm spoiled now. It's so nice not to have to pack everything. Plus they can do it so much faster. If we ever move again I'm getting movers. Good luck on your new adventure!

How awesome about the move!!! I hope it goes smoothly for you guys. I have felt as though my family needs to move for 7 or 8 years now. Would love a couple acres. During that time so many things have happened that seem like the way is being made. I am waiting patiently and continue to do what I have been prompted to do.

My favorite thing for the air fryer is a Costco rotisserie. I put some evoo, salt & pepper and reheat it. The entire chicken is SUPER crispy it’s so good 🙌🏼

Great Sam's Club haul. I recently sold my house and am going to stay with my brother while I find a house or condo to buy. I've been looking for the past month and as soon as a house gets on the MLS site, it gets a sale pending on it. Hopefully I will find a place soon. I'm downsizing so got rid of a lot of things. Before my families move to metro Atlanta we lived for most of our lives in Lancaster/ Rock Hill SC. It's our "home" and cant wait to move back!

Oh my gosh - I love my Air Fryer. I have the Instant Pot Vortex. So many things can be done in it. Trick with mine is temp at 370. We did English Muffins last night (3 minutes). I do Hash browns, fries, cheese sticks - lots of warming up/reheating things. Between the regular Instant Pot and the Vortex I can have dinner done in 20 minutes or less some nights.

I love going shopping with you to this store and love seeing what the deals are that they have! I miss Costco I used to shop all the time when we lived in Florida by and moving back to boring Ohio, we have nothing like this around my side of the state! So sad huh?

Moving is a big job but adventures are so fun!!!!

Wings in the air fryer are The Best!

English muffin: toasted, butter or mayo, slice of homegrown tomato, salt & pepper. Or toasted, with mayo, thinly sliced dill pickle and onion, thin slice of cheddar.

So excited for your new adventure! You had asked what food is being served for the 4th of July -- I had three orders come in for me to make my 7-layer Greek dip so I thought I would share it with you by layer: 1) onion and chive cream cheese 2)roasted garlic hommus 3) chopped roma tomatoes 4) chopped cucumbers 5) Feta cheese 6) sliced black olives & 7) chopped scallions. I serve it with pita chips -- some have actually eaten the dip as a meal!

On the rare occasion I eat muffins, I like them toasted with buttery spread on and jam. A few supermarket chains have hand held scanning devices for your groceries, I've never used them but my daughter uses them when they shop.

English muffin - split, toasted, buttered and either honey or strawberry preserves. A sweet little treat after eating savory eggs and bacon. Yum!

If you are moving in a month, you should shop your pantry and freezers so you will have less stuff to move and save money. Is Derek changing jobs, too?

Your lucky to even see a freezer!! Our local stores within 60 miles of us aren’t expected to restock until Sept or later

I have the black and white picnic bag! I love it! I use it for work to keep my lunch cold cause i drive a short bus and the area i have to put my bag gets soooo hot.

O MGosh, that stand up freezer. Wish Sam's had that when I bought my chest freezer. Would be so much easier to load and for hubby to find things. I'm going to save up for that.
