Sam Tageson had a lifelong dream fulfilled when he became a "Shark For A Day" on March 18, 2014 through Make-A-Wish and the Sharks Foundation. During his day with the Sharks, the 18-year-old hockey fanatic and lifelong fan joined in the Sharks’ morning skate, met with General Manager Doug Wilson, had lunch with Bay Area Hall of Famer Owen Nolan, and became the first non-rostered player in franchise history to skate through the Shark head with the team and stand at the blue line for the national anthem.
