That they did and The Bee Gees were the best and just glad I got to see them in Vegas in 1997 and Olivia Newton John with her daughter in the front row, great times and that concert is on here
Not so good here in the UK with all the strikes, rubbish piling up in the streets as a result, three day working week with reduced wages and the country having to beg for money from the WTO as it was almost bankrupt. Thank goodness for the music that kept us sane and entertained, this was a wonderful song written by the Bee Gees who were out of flavour at the time and wrote for other people instead, right up until Saturday Night Fever happened, then the rest is history as they say
That mussic is a time machine. No matter how old you are. Whenever you play it. Its like you're a teen or in your 20s just dancing away with the one you love. Or not.
SURE!!! WONDERFULL AND HEAVENLY MUSIC FROM OF 70S, UNIQUE DECADE WITH TOO MUCH HITS AND ALL GENERS!!! I LIKE BEE GEES FOREVER; I BELIEVE THEY ARE EQUAL O BETTER OF THE BEATLES!!!
I never miss music from the past. I have around 11K favourite songs in iTunes from 70s, 80s up until contemporary stuff. And I play them every time I feel like it. Can also make playlists and add tracks to them with one touch... So I'm not dependent on radio stations or DJs when it comes to music.
So grateful to my parents for bringing me in to this world so that I was able to enjoy the magical times and music of the 70s, there will never be anything like it again! Absolutely loved getting ready and hitting the disco club on a Saturday night and spending time with my friends and friends that I made and enjoying every minute listening and dancing to the 70s disco music. Feel sorry for today's generation as they will never have what we had.
@@protochris That is kind of rude from her, because they were his siblings, not any other singers. But I saw him singing solo with other artist, so it could be, who knows.
I heard this song for the first time in a disco in Honolulu. I was barely 18 and in the service. First time ever, away from home. I couldn't believe that the world was so different from the small town I grew up in,in NY. I would've never met my beautiful wife and had a lovely daughter if I had not joined the service.
Vdd. Tenho dez anos a menos q vc.
This takes me back to teen years. I just loved this Era in music. This song got my body moving. You go girl and the Bee Gees as back up is totally awesome!
@@robertmoir5695 Robert I am 66 and lived through the greatest Era of music. I have no musical talent but I will always have a song in my head and heart.
Looking back, I was 21 years old in 1977 & have fond memories of this and many other songs of that era. Rode my motorcycles hard & fast singing tunes like this to myself, no intrusive electronic surveillance, no mobiles, just freedom & dodging the cops! Happy days! Lol
This is one of the first records I ever bought as a young boy in 1977. I always assumed she was a black American until I just saw this video. Not only is she white, but Australian. The Bee Gees spent most of their lives in Australia having emigrated from Manchester, so i guess they knew her from there and produced this for her.
All the Disco haters are coming back to Disco. It was and still is quality music. Loved every minute of it!! I can dance so it was a special plus to meet the ladies!😁
Your spot on, I was teen in the late 70’s and was a rock and roller, didn’t really get the disco thing. But today I love all the music of the 70’s, the disco, funk, rock and roll is all good stuff.
Los Años Maravillosos de mi Juventud;Hermosa Melodia(Emoción)Samantha Sang y Los Grandes**Bee Gees**; Añoranzas a Todos mis Amigos Contemporaneos, Donde Quiera q Esten.
I remember listening to this song on am radio, when Saturday Night Fever came out. You couldn't turn on the radio and not have this song come on. People would say, oh, thats The Bee Gees. I said, no, thats Samantha Sang, with a little help from the Bee Gees.
uma viagem ao mundo da musica maravilhosa. Tinha 13 quando no meu primeiro bailinho, me encantei ouvindo essa maravilha. E na sequencia da seleção " A WARM SUMMER NIGHT - CHIC" , depois; DIONNE WARWICK - DONT YOU EVER TAKE YOUR LOVE AWAY...
The Bee Gees were so prolific in that they wrote many songs best performed by them but also songs tailored for others. Sometimes, like To Love Somebody (Janis Joplin) or How Can You Mend a Broken Heart ( Al Green), others took an existing Bee Gees song and took it someplace else. The definition of greatness!
So nice so very nice I was just about 23 when this came out and my aunt RIP loved this tune very much as to made her cry as How Deep Is Your Love, those where some wonderful years with her around and the rest of the family, The Bee Gees had some awesome songs in those years, I wish I could go back and hug everyone!
Memories of the time that we had nothing but peace and enjoy life safely. With beautiful music.❤ Memories that never fade away. The 70s was the best decade.😊
Her voice is simply perfect with the Bee Gees .... this collaboration as well the other various artists to follow ....pure, beautiful magic. I'm so fortunate to have lived the 70's ...a period in my life I'll never forget.
This is a beautiful song and a sensational duet from Samantha Sang and the bee gees So soft gentle soothing evocative heart warming full of love happiness joy hope and tenderness My favourite singers are always the bee gees from Denise in Dublin
I'm 64(magic Beatles'song got me now),now I confess my deep love to immortal music of Bee Gees .To make it clear - I'm die hard fan of Lemmy &AC/DC+my pesonal addiction on:Ozzy.
I'll never forget Samantha Sang's 1977-78 hit, "Emotion",and backing her were the Bee Gees. It spent several weeks on the hit parade that winter. We had an au pair from Germany living with us, and her name was Karin Brader. She was a big fan of the Bee Gees (the Brothers Gibb). It was the height of the disco era, and the Bee Gees were going through their disco phase. There was the movie Saturday Night Fever, featuring the music of the Bee Gees.
