I’m 100% down for a Fable: Samarkand. There’s so much to explore in Albion, given how we can see it in different eras, but there’s even more to explore in Samarkand. There’s only so many times you can be like “oh this was in the original Fable! Oh this was in Fable 2!” While nice, the novelty wears off.
I’ve always wanted to be able to explore all the lands of Albion and surrounding countries in a Fable game. I hope in the new Fable game we’ll be able to visit Samarkand and Aurora and even other countries we may not know about yet! Then it would really feel like a true open-world RPG!
It'd be great to visit the other lands and nations. Different cultures and abilities. Would be a great direction for the series if Playground do decide to use some of the same places.
@@Skyrionn fr how can the fable 2 hero use will after 500 years of generations. But the direct child of a will user needs gauntlets to activate their will
I've always been interested in Samarkand, that place is so mysterious to me. And I also love desert locations, Aurora is one of my favourite places in Fable. I hope we'll be able to visit Samarkand in the new Fable, because there's a big chunk of important lore in it.
I think the mystery adds to what makes it a fantastical region. I hope that Playground do keep some of the same locations that we do not have a ton of information on and then add their own flair to them
It was such a fun one to put together! Samarkand would be a great location to explore - and Playground could create their own lore for there as we still don't know a lot.
Best video of your I've seen so far, I have literally watched every single Fable theory videos that you have uploaded. I just absolutely love the Fable series in general 😊
Great video as always Sky and great to see the novels being used and referenced! I think Edge of the World was a very average book that should have been longer, and I still want that sequel!
The novels are great - it's a shame not a lot of the fanbase are aware of them. Could maybe cover each one in a video. Just need to figure out how copyright works with that.
In my opinion I would say everything is Canon unless a new game comes out which says otherwise and then I would say that is still canon but it just takes place in an alternate reality with the differences
@@Skyrionn Well of course there’s gonna be some canonical events which I would like to see be referenced and something like the ruined heroes guild in fable 2 it would be good to find out what the canonical choices in fable 2 and 3 were
@@Skyrionn since we never got a Fable Legends I might just get this one to put in the empty place that was left in my heart :') Also I hope they make good fun of the "canceled legend" in fable 4 ;P
Also I have a few questions for the Fable community out there that I still haven't been able to find out on my own, so any information out there would be well and truely appreciated. First question, does the hero of Brightwall become captured, imprisoned and eventually die in his prison cell, second question, are the books Fable: The Balverine Order and Fable: Edge of the World cannon or just legend, I can't really remember if Skyrion had said that both books are most likely to be cannon, as it would explain the plot in Fable: The Journey, and third and final question, what is the difference between Aoura and Samarkand, was Aoura always apart of Albions kingdom or was is it perhaps Samarkand that is apart of Albions kingdom
So, to my knowledge, the fate of the hero is undetermined, but he was indeed captured on a military expedition. The books are infact canon. Neither Aurora or Samarkand are a part of Albion's kingdom, they're separate but sometimes allied kingdoms.
I don’t agree with the theory, as I think that Heroes are not simply a thing that exists in the Fable world as a matter of fact, as in it would be universal, but are something that is only found in Albion due to being the children of William Black, so the only place you would find Heroes would be in the Old Kingdom of Albion. Now, is it likely that we would find Samarkand a sanctuary for heroes after the attack on the guild? Yes, and that would explain why Garth is a hero, as he would be the descendant of a hero refugee from Albion, but even then these numbers would be dwindling down the years as their skills would disappear without the proper training to hone them so fewer and fewer residents of Samarkand with the heroic blood would even realise they had it at all, let alone the people of Albion who had that ancestry. But I don’t think other places in the world actually had heroes at all, and if they ever came into contact with heroes, it would be wanderers from Albion like Theresa who had been driven from their home years ago and they would find these powers strange, fascinating and mystical and never imagine why the people of their homeland had turned them away.
Remember that the Old Kingdom covered far more of the world than Albion itself and it's Heroes probably travelled even further. I think there would be Heroes in the other parts of the world and they're the descendents of these Old Kingdom Heroes! Also, just as William Black randomly just developed powers (he found that book to the void AFTER), who's to say that hasn't happened elsewhere?
i loved this video,is there any way to explain theresa being the only one aside from scythe to have longevity like what if the main heroes pulled a scythe become done or disgusted with what they had seen or felt like they weren’t needed or even spoke to theresa who revealed the next hero so they leave or fake their deaths for the next hero to rise, what if the hero of oak ale isn’t dead but somewhere else
I guess when a person is that powerful, they beat death too. Maybe their will energy is just that strong that they continue living. I'd love to think that the hero of Oakvale is out there someone, living in secret.
So is Samarkand known as Aurora in fable3? When never got to travel Samarkand in its peak during the fable games except fable 3? But its known as Aurora.
There is a novel? By the logic of journey being canon cause it is a fable game wouldn’t heroes, legends and the pub game thing count? Not trying to pick holes just found it funny
@@Skyrionn it is a shame that the bloodline gets so diluted that the hero of brightwall needs gauntlet to use powers, I get from lore why but it just make them look pathetic compared to hero of oakvale and hero of bowers tone
